“The only gas station in the state of Alabama that I know of that still has employees that come out and pump gas for you so that if that's all your there for or handicap or just dont feel like getting out, you can just stay in your car and a guy will come out and you tell him how much and what type, hand him your money/card and he pumps your gas for you! The only thing is though, there is only 1 gas pumper, so if you pull up when there are a bunch of other vehicles there getting gas, you will either have to sit there and wait till your turn, or decide to go in and pay and pump yourself if you're in a big hurry or anything. As long as your not in a hurry and have time to wait or have the patience to wait lol, you can sit there in your car and wait to get gas pumped in your car! The gas pumpers are always friendly and try their best to get to every vehicle/customer in a timely manner. But, sometimes they have to fill a vehicle up with a big tank, or have to stand there and watch it until it get to whatever big amount someone needs until it's done, so in that case it takes him longer to get done and able to move on to the next vehicle/customer. There has been times I've pulled up and no one came out to see if I wanted my gas pumped, I dont know if they were busy doing something else or no pumpers were on clock that day or what, but it would be nice if they would hire more than 1 pumper at a time or at least have 2 pumpers on the clock during their busiest times so there isn't so much put on just 1 pumper and be able to help more then 1 vehicle/customer at a time and us customers wouldn't have such long wait times especially for the ones that absolutely are unable to get out and go in for whatever reason. They also sell cooked food there except on Sundays and most of the time it's really good when it's freshly cooked and hasn't set there in the warmers for too long. Some of the cashiers seem more friendlier and professional than other cashiers. There has been times I've went on there and a cashier seemed to have a bad day or just an attitude problem or just didnt know how to treat customers whatever the cause, they seemed to be very rude and uncaring attitude problem. Plus their gas prices always seems to be higher than everyone else's , but most of the time I stop and get gas there because of the convenience of it being on my daily route back and forth picking and dropping my kids off at school, if not for the convenience I would definitely get gas somewhere less pricy, because Walmart gas is usally a few cents cheaper and I get points that I save up to get free gas, which is very helpful when running low or trying to save money, and Terry's/Phillips 66 dont offer anything at all for you to want to choose their gas. The only upside they have is the gaspumpers.”

“I travel thru here once a week and raceway is always the easiest gas station to get in and out of. The restrooms have always been clean and there is a good variety of food, snacks and drinks.”
“My sister and I stopped over at this gas station in 2020 while my mother was in rehab recovering from the blood clot she had not long after I recovered from the episode I had with my legs and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we look forward to stopping there again the next time we’re in the Landersville Mount Hope area. Of course it was hard stopping by there because of the tornado that hit down there April 27 2011 and knowing so many people that lived down there and some that still live down there and the fact that 5 precious people lost their lives down there after the tornado but we will not let the tornado stop us from going there every time we stop by.”

“Cool place to go before you get to the forest, has maps of the Bankhead National Forest and Sipsey. Food is pretty good but it's cool to check out all the stuff at the store has to offer along with special pieces that were brought in from around the area and you can find a plethora of local authors books being sold here along with others”
