“Absolutely great service. Had a large bolt that punctuated my tire. The bolt was large it made a thumping sound and vibration every rotation. Called Mavis and they had me in and fixed in less than 30 minutes. Not only that, but they didn't even charge anything because the tire is a self-sealing tire. They told me to just watch the tire and monitor the air pressure. Great service, quick service, and honest service. Definitely returning for any future issues.”

“We arrived in Gulf Shores on a Saturday afternoon for a week long family vacation. That night we noticed a grinding sound coming from our vehicle while getting groceries that progressively got worse. Being that we drove from Ohio, it wasn't something I wanted to ignore until we got back. There were not many options on a Saturday to have it looked at, so first thing Monday morning I called DJ's based on a recommendation from the condo facility we were staying at. I called at 8 am and was told to bring it over to look at. By 1030 am the problem had been figured out and we had our vehicle back with new brakes and were back to enjoying vacation.”

“These guys were awesome!
I had driven in from Birmingham, and as soon as I got off the interstate, I started hearing a strange noise. I had just had my car serviced at another shop the week before I left. It was just me and my 12-year-old son traveling down here to visit family, so I was pretty concerned.
After checking reviews, I called this shop the next morning. They were incredibly friendly and told me to bring it right in. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Ken, who immediately jumped in the car with me and said, “Let’s take it for a test drive.”
Within 30 seconds, he knew it was a wheel bearing and even identified which one. He explained exactly what was happening and reassured me that it wasn’t necessarily related to the work that had been done the week before. He said he would check for any other issues but let me know the repair wouldn’t take long. The price was extremely fair and much less than I expected.
A lot of times, going into a mechanic shop can feel uncomfortable, like you’re being upsold or pressured into repairs you don’t need. I never felt that way here. Everyone was informative, honest, and trustworthy.
Ken called me within two hours to let me know my car was finished. It’s driving perfectly now, and I’m so thankful I brought it to this shop. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and friendly service. I will definitely be back if I have a car problem in Foley and already recommend them to all my family and friends here! Thanks again!”

I showed up here with no appointment and they literally stopped what they were doing and fixed my tire on the spot. “I damaged to my 2016 suburban when driving down a back road in Foley, AL. I topped a hill and as I came down, a tree had fallen onto the road. I swerved as best. I could, unfortunately caused a lot of damage to my suburban. But these guys, Caliber Collisions Did a fantastic job on my suburban. Beautiful bodywork, paint matches, excellently, no issues mechanically nor physically. It’s like it never even happened. I highly recommend!!!”

“Brought my truck on Monday with an exhaust manifold problem. Turns out my driver side manifold was cracked. They quoted me $1350 for diagnostic and fix with a cautionary warning that if bolts broke it would cost over $3000. The parts arrived Thursday and they had it all done by Friday mid day. They didn’t break any bolts and the truck drives like a dream now. If you’re in the market for a trust worthy mechanic shop, this is the place for you. Overly pleased with their work, honesty, and efficiency.”
“These folks were very easy to deal with, and provided great service. Needed to get our AquaHot unit replaced. Old unit was removed, and new one installed & tested within promised two day timeframe. We were able to stay in our coach overnight, with power and water provided. Big thanks to owner Bobby for running a great outfit, and Glenda for helping with pre-service arrangements.”
“Our 2017 Toyota Sienna broke down while on our way to Gulf Shores. An improperly installed oil drain plug blew out leaving the oil pan bone dry. Upon the recommendation of a friend, we had it towed to Tom's. Best decision ever! These guys took great personal pride and care in repairing our vehicle and getting it back to us quickly at a more than fair price. I wish we lived closer so we could use them for all our auto care needs. Thank you, Tom and sons!”

Great down to earth mechanic who is still doing this for the passion of it. At 75 an hour, he is the lowest cost by far of anything you will find. Most dealerships cost anywhere from 120 to 180 an hour to work on a part that can cost under 50. Think head gaskets, cheap part expensive job due to labor hours.
He is licensed, insured, and probably way long in AL than you. Many local companies, such as dealerships, trust him with their vehicles, and a lot of those cars you see on display on orange beach are his creations.”
