“Lunch with my brother and SIL yesterday was beyond good, it was amazing! From being greeted as I walked through the door, to the excellent service, healthy portions, the rolls, and the lemon cake we shared, it was well worth the drive from Southside.
We did some thrifting after and, when I returned to pick up my car, back in I went for more cake and a lovely turkey chef salad for the spousal unit.

“On this magnificent Sunny day, I pack my picnic basket with odds & ends but stopped by J&S Country Store to put some food in it. WOW! Overwhelmed with the huge selection, my daughter & I just tried a bit of everything. Pimento Cheese & Pepper Jack Cheese Spread, Pasta Salad, Cheese Straws, Roasted Turkey & Bacon and Classic Club Sandwiches, Potatoe Salad, Broc/Craisin Slaw...and Crushed Ice with Sweet Tea. What more could a picnic need? Indeed I will be returning to this little hidden gem to fill my picnic basket. A special picnic with my daughter was made even better with this FANTASTIC food! Thanks J&S! Delicious!!”

“Since Jaybos has opened, I have gone in there and have always experienced great service. Their facility is clean, including the parking lot. It's never clutter and they are always super friendly. They always have a well stocked cooler as well. I go there specifically for my redbulls, as they are always sold out of everywhere for weeks at a time.”

“I am a regular at this store, more than once a day. The cashiers and managers are great! The only reason I don’t give five stars (and they probably deserve 5 stars) is for one reason. A man that could not talk came in and pointed to something and made noise (he could not talk) the cashier said hell no and slammed down paper and pencil. Now I understand she has no clue what the guy wanted and would be better to write it down. My problem is her tact. Yelling hell no and slamming paper down. It had to embarrass the crap out of that man, it did me. I will still go to this store, just not near as often. This newer cashier really left me feeling like I’d rather spend my money elsewhere than see her treat people with disabilities like this again. This happened around 7pm on may 8th 2025”

I'm a long haul trucker this is the first time I've stayed at this truck stop.
The lady inside she was super nice. They have a wide selection of items inside food whatever.
Anytime a place let's me park for free I always go inside and buy something. It's my way of paying it forward.
God bless these people cuz they don't have to let us part for free or let us park at all.
Just want to tell the owners of the establishment thank you so much for letting us park here for free greatly appreciated.”
