“Publix is one of the grocery stores I use most often in Tuscaloosa, and for good reason. While it may not always offer the lowest prices compared to stores like Walmart or Aldi, it more than makes up for it with quality, freshness, convenience, and customer service.
One of the things I appreciate most about Publix is the freshness of its products. The produce section is consistently well-stocked, and the overall shopping experience feels clean, organized, and pleasant. It is also a very convenient store, making it easy to stop by and quickly find what you need.
I especially enjoy purchasing fresh flowers here. The floral department usually has beautiful arrangements and fresh bouquets that are perfect for gifts, special occasions, or simply brightening up your home. The quality of the flowers is consistently excellent.
Another standout feature is the customer service. The staff members are always friendly, helpful, and professional. Whether you need assistance finding a product or have a question, someone is usually available and willing to help.
Overall, Publix may not be the cheapest grocery option in town, but it delivers outstanding value through product quality, freshness, convenience, and excellent service. For those reasons, it remains one of my favorite places to shop in Tuscaloosa and a store I would highly recommend.”
“Mr. Marcus & Ms. Shylah were amazing at the middle store food court. I thought I was coming in for a quick grab for lunch. They were so warm and inviting I ended up staying a couple more moments longer as they made suggestions to pair with what I'd already pick up from another part of the store. We talked about food, I got to taste their Curried Chicken Salad and it was good! I really enjoyed my time with them! I left with the biggest smile. I had to come here and acknowledge them! #This was a couple of weeks ago and I'm still thinking about the experience I had!”
“Best store ever! My family and I come here all the time! This is our go-to place for almost anything. We get our medicine here at the pharmacy, we get all of our food here, we even get plates, garbage bags, shampoo and conditioner, soap, over the counter medicine, fresh fruits and vegetables, great bakery, great deli! We even get oil for our car here! They have a wonderful selection, good prices, and every employee I've ever interacted with was very nice. Especially the ones at the self checkout! And the bathtooms are always clean!”

“I've always had good and pleasant service at the Publix pharmacy. My only serious issue is their communication with my doctor for renewals. Once they send a message it seems there is no follow up. And if the doctor's office isn't organized well enough, it can result in delays.”

“Great Facility. In and out within an hour.
Check in at the guard shack first and then go around building to docks. Park your truck to side, walk up to check in office in the corner by the docks. Was told 2 trucks are in front of me. Got a door assigned within 30 mins and loaded in next 20 mins. Enrique Martinez the loader was great and quick with loading the trailer over all great facility.”

Bakery is well stocked and available to order custom cakes. Deli has a variety of foods. Fresh produce readily available and well stocked. Wide variety of produce. Shelves are well stocked and isles are clean. Employees are friendly and ready to help. If they dont have what you are looking for they may be able to get it for you. Plenty of frozen foods and deserts. Meat department is well stocked and they have seafood available fresh and frozen.”
