“Great deals if you can buy and not try. The sales crew had the doors locked and wouldn't let you even try on a jacket. I know people steal, but others still want to buy. Have staff check before trying on.”
“Tell the Semi trucks to stop coming into my neighborhood and tearing up our driveways and neighborhood. Update the semis are not coming into the neighborhood anymore.( The stop sign )at the entrance way at the traffic light? Keeps getting torn up across the street from the neighborhood. It keeps getting turned around backwards.”
“Great selection. America's Thrift is open longer and later than most similar shops...9am to 9pm, Monday thru Saturday. While it's not open as long on Sundays, it does actually open on Sunday...unlike the majority of thrift shops (at least, in the immediate vicinity).
Always has additional discounts (30% and 50%) on certain items...based on the colour of the pricing tag and the discounted colours change periodically.
This store is always clean and easy to navigate, also.”

She was so kind and sweet with helping me place the order and she definitely went above and beyond. She was so excited and creative, I knew she would make sure to treat the cake like it was her own. That’s over four decades of anchoring University Mall—and it shows in the way they continue to meet everyday needs with ease and care.
Whenever I go to JCPenney, I find what I’m looking for. Whether it’s a quick wardrobe refresh, housewares, or shoes for my son, they always seem to have just the right thing. The store layout is intuitive, the departments are easy to navigate, and the merchandise is consistently well-stocked and organized. Even more than the products, I appreciate the people—the cashiers are kind, patient, and helpful, especially when I’m using my JCPenney Rewards (which always feel like a sweet little bonus for being a loyal shopper).
There’s something incredibly comforting about shopping at a store that has not only been around for more than a century, but has also been part of my life since I can remember. It’s a place where tradition and convenience meet—and in today’s fast-moving retail world, that’s a rare and beautiful thing.

“This Target is located in the perfect spot in Tuscaloosa, as it is close to most everything- including the UofA, the local Mall, Skyland Blvd., and it is centrally located to surrounding out lying cities. This Target is newer, and is very easy to get in and out of. The hours are convenient and the employees have always been nice and helpful.”

“I was just at this store and met a nice man named James in the jewelry department. He was very nice and polite. I was shocked at how nice the store looked. I was telling him how my local store in California didn't look that nice. I wish I had more time to look again but I saw it on the mall and it was one of my favorite stores I had to stop in to see how different an Alabama JCPENNEY'S is to a California one. “Covid vaccines are hard to find in the state, but thanks to the Walmart app I was able to schedule an appointment at this location. Before traveling to the store, I called to confirm my appointment with the pharmacy. Once I arrived, I checked in with an associate by giving her my name and appointment time. She then checked my temperature and gave me a form to complete. After this I went to the counter and gave the pharmacy technician my ID/insurance card, verified my medical information that I gave on the app, gave me my vaccinations card and scheduled the appointment for my second shot. Next from there another associate took me to the vaccination are where I was given my vaccination. After the vaccination I had to sit and wait for 15 minutes to see if there were any reactions. I'm pleased with the process and excited that I was able to get my vaccine!”
