“This weather is pretty funky and unpredictable. So it's not feasible financially or otherwise to use the heating system one day and a day later turn on the air. So we went to Ollie's to purchase a small heater for those chilly nights. Price wise, they can't be beat. They had a decent selection and nationally known brands. Pleased to say the least.
**RETURN VISIT: Found a great deal on foldable storage ottomans, faux leather for 12.99. Just what's needed in my guest bedroom. Elated!!”
“Such a cool store!! I had never been to one before this, it has a lot of amazing finds for a good price. My partner and I found a Beast Wars Monopoly and it was so much fun! Ollie's has anything and everything you need and even things you don't need! ? Definitely worth checking out if you're around.”
“The store is clean and organized… good prices… but that’s not why I’m writing this… Queen is the SWEETEST person I have ever run into. She was so incredibly kind to me and my daughter. “I came here just to look around, as I had never been to this location before. Right off I noticed the amount of pet items they had! Clothing, jewelry, yes... jewelry! It was cute too! Lots to choose from for your furry friends! Most things at Five Below are priced within this range. They also had a Five Beyond section. I had never seen this section in other locations. I know for me , it was years before I realized that everything was NOT priced Five Below. This is a great stop to grab a quick gift or a snack or even workout equipment. The inventory is endless so you are sure to find something Five Below or Five Beyond!”
“Always have a surplus of goods. Though I wish the Clothes area was a little more organized. Prices are definatly cheaper than Walmart, some by alot, some not so much.
One thing is make sure you sign up for the rewards(free) you get emails on wgat products they recently bought out , almost allowing you first pick on some of the goods.”

“I love going here with my family. It doesn't feel like im being watched or targeted. The employees are always nice and approachable. They dont act like you are a bother or the job is beneath them, they really take care of their customers need. the store is very clean and kept that way throughout the day, kids are allowed to test out the balls, and nobody makes them out to be a brother. Prices are perfect, and the store is very easy to navigate.”
“I have been to this Dollar Tree a few times. It's hit or miss. The last time I came here I bought a set of four bath sponges from April Bath & Shower. They were pretty poorly made, but I do not really expect much for four bath sponges for only $1.25.”

“I had the opportunity to call this store for an online purchase and ultimately came by to pick up my order. Outstanding customer service isn’t enough words for this store. Everyone was very helpful and polite. I was asked was I finding everything I needed by an associate too. They also greeted all customers as soon as they arrived. I had to tell the cashier how great they were!! Kudos!! I felt so welcomed here. This was a far contrast from other stores in the area. Job well done!!!”

“This was one of the nicest & cleanest stores I have been in. Not to mention, the associates were friendly, not walking around with a nasty attitude. This is very uncommon to see this in a lot of Dollar Trees I go into, sadly. I'm from out of town, but if I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely visit this location again for anything I need to pick up quickly.”
“DOLLA DOLLA BILL! It's always a treat to have a visit to the Dollar Store. Courtney and my favorite Dollar Tree is located out on highway 280, but if you know anything about Birmingham, we avoid 280 at all stakes. This dollar tree is located in Homewood on Green Springs Highway next door to the Mexican grocery store. This store was not run down or anything like other dollar stores we've been to. It had a wide selection and everything is super inexpensive. We came in looking for different items. Courtney needed a plastic container and I needed more fall decor. I love decorating for fall as it is ,y favorite time of year. They had a wide selection of home decor and other housewares. I had a lot of fun collecting items together. Customer service was fine. Friendly people. I was happy that we did not have to tackle 280, but that dollar tree is so much better then this one.”

“I am a DOLLAR STORE PRINCESS and Shenitta is the Queen. I am a country girl and have always been beyond appreciative of DGs goal of getting the food / household necessities across the south. But, let me tell you, the Pelham/Helena HWY store reigns supreme! I've been to the NC, and the TN, and the GA, and the SC stores but no. She wins! This store has some some of the hardest working, nicest, realist individuals. Stop by, say hey to Ms. Shenitta, pick up a bottle of $5 wine and some jalapeño Cheetos for me!! About to drop in now for their half-price soil deals... they have it all!!”

“They have some cool books and movies sometimes. Can't beat the prices. Last time I was there I found a copy of Douglas Adam's "Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy". Also bought several "Shudder" original movies. Which was a very nice find. 5 stars! Although maybe they should change the name to Dollar.Twentyfive tree.”
“Yessss, it was time for me to pick up the Smithfield’s Ham from Save A Lots! It’s was the last thing on my to do errands list, prior to leaving for out of town for the Holidays! It’s my favorite Ham people! And I love to buy it from here bc they have never failed me on favors, freshness & quality of meat! Okay! My secret is out! “Wanted to say that Dollar General has really improved in a short time. I was in the Dollar general and I saw n heard a young man who was running around making sure everyone knew there job and what needed done He definitely seemed in charge and was getting things in order. This store has had a lot of workers who really didn't wanna work. There's always someone outside asking for money and I'm sure it intimidates some shoppers. Congratulations Dollar General for getting it right. Keep up the great work and also keep the young man with Colorful braids. He definitely sounded BOSS.”
