“This dollar tree is one of the most organized and well-stocked I've ever been in! Great parking, great displays. They didn't have what I was looking for this go-around but I would give it another try!”
“This weather is pretty funky and unpredictable. So it's not feasible financially or otherwise to use the heating system one day and a day later turn on the air. So we went to Ollie's to purchase a small heater for those chilly nights. Price wise, they can't be beat. They had a decent selection and nationally known brands. Pleased to say the least.
**RETURN VISIT: Found a great deal on foldable storage ottomans, faux leather for 12.99. Just what's needed in my guest bedroom. Elated!!”
“11/4 review- Good deals but the employees are generally unpleasant . I have Kameron to ring me up today. He was the only register open and he was working hard and being pleasant. Another young man with his hair completely covering his face and glasses stood back doing nothing to help his coworker.
Sept review- Lots of great values can be found here! There are cute Halloween and Fall items available now. The store could definitely be nearer and cleaner. The wide range of items available in one big warehouse-like store makes it convenient.
You can find great prices on many things, but some prices seem a bit much for an Ollie’s.
The employees were not very friendly, but they weren’t t rude either.”
“The store is clean and organized… good prices… but that’s not why I’m writing this… Queen is the SWEETEST person I have ever run into. She was so incredibly kind to me and my daughter. I ended up hugging her before I left the store. This is the first time I’ve been in here but I will be back AS MUCH AS I CAN! Couldn’t ask for a better experience!!”

“Always have a surplus of goods. Though I wish the Clothes area was a little more organized. Prices are definatly cheaper than Walmart, some by alot, some not so much.
One thing is make sure you sign up for the rewards(free) you get emails on wgat products they recently bought out , almost allowing you first pick on some of the goods.”
“I had the opportunity to call this store for an online purchase and ultimately came by to pick up my order. Outstanding customer service isn’t enough words for this store. Everyone was very helpful and polite. I was asked was I finding everything I needed by an associate too. They also greeted all customers as soon as they arrived. I had to tell the cashier how great they were!! Kudos!! I felt so welcomed here. This was a far contrast from other stores in the area. Job well done!!!”
“It's my home dollar general it's my go to although they tend to run out of popular items like milk and toilet paper seems to be the go to" store on your way home from work! All that really needs changing making sure its stocked up!!♡♡”
“I have been to this Dollar Tree a few times. It's hit or miss. The last time I came here I bought a set of four bath sponges from April Bath & Shower. They were pretty poorly made, but I do not really expect much for four bath sponges for only $1.25.”

“This was one of the nicest & cleanest stores I have been in. Not to mention, the associates were friendly, not walking around with a nasty attitude. This is very uncommon to see this in a lot of Dollar Trees I go into, sadly. I'm from out of town, but if I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely visit this location again for anything I need to pick up quickly.”

“Managed to get in the door to buy a few things before close but I didn't realize it had gone past closing time. The staff could have been friendlier as I stopped briefly to respectfully interact with the staff but no someone was holding the door wide, silent, giving me a death stare.
Is that what "showing someone the door" means because I've seen friendlier door-stops. And I though introductions to a means to enter of exit isn't usually so subtle lol.

“Wanted to say that Dollar General has really improved in a short time. I was in the Dollar general and I saw n heard a young man who was running around making sure everyone knew there job and what needed done He definitely seemed in charge and was getting things in order. This store has had a lot of workers who really didn't wanna work. There's always someone outside asking for money and I'm sure it intimidates some shoppers. Congratulations Dollar General for getting it right. Keep up the great work and also keep the young man with Colorful braids. He definitely sounded BOSS.”
“I haven't been to this location in over a year so I was pleased to see that this location had been remodeled. Looks good too! Neat and we'll organized overall. Friendly staff and fast service. Stock was a little limited but supply and demand is an issue we all are dealing with. Thankfully what I needed was in stock so I was happy!”
“I go to these dollar general almost daily sometimes more then once a day when trying to skip a Walmart trip I usually always find what I need the staff is friendly and usually knows me by name I usually get right in and right out.”

“DOLLA DOLLA BILL! It's always a treat to have a visit to the Dollar Store. Courtney and my favorite Dollar Tree is located out on highway 280, but if you know anything about Birmingham, we avoid 280 at all stakes. This dollar tree is located in Homewood on Green Springs Highway next door to the Mexican grocery store. This store was not run down or anything like other dollar stores we've been to. It had a wide selection and everything is super inexpensive. We came in looking for different items. Courtney needed a plastic container and I needed more fall decor. I love decorating for fall as it is ,y favorite time of year. They had a wide selection of home decor and other housewares. I had a lot of fun collecting items together. Customer service was fine. Friendly people. I was happy that we did not have to tackle 280, but that dollar tree is so much better then this one.”
“A very slept on retailer. They have lots of reasonably priced items from clothing to smal home decor, food and electronics. Shop here before you go anywhere else. Just with they had more cashiers.”

“It's a smaller location than the one off of 280, so you will find a smaller selection or selection of whatever whatever it is that you're looking for . There was almost nothing in the Freezer and refrigerated section. The cashier was friendly.”
“This place is awesome. I spent $400 in what seemed like 20 minutes ???. You talk about deals!!!!!!! This place has them. Everything was well organized and clean, staff was super friendly. I think I got everything I needed but if inventory changes I’d for sure return ❤️”

“I am a DOLLAR STORE PRINCESS and Shenitta is the Queen. I am a country girl and have always been beyond appreciative of DGs goal of getting the food / household necessities across the south. But, let me tell you, the Pelham/Helena HWY store reigns supreme! I've been to the NC, and the TN, and the GA, and the SC stores but no. She wins! This store has some some of the hardest working, nicest, realist individuals. Stop by, say hey to Ms. Shenitta, pick up a bottle of $5 wine and some jalapeño Cheetos for me!! About to drop in now for their half-price soil deals... they have it all!!”
“Was unaware that this specific location stays open til 10pm everyday except Sundays (close at 9pm sunday) but was pleasantly surprised as I was in desperate need of some excedrine & it kept me from having to go all thru a big store (Walmart lol). “This Dollar Tree really amazed me. It was stocked well and one of the neater ones that I've been in. There were actual stockers on the floor while I was there. Each $1 Tree is different. I found some nice little treasures at this one. The cashier was most pleasant. The stock guy, they called on him 2 or 3 times. He knows his store. He either walked straight to it or knew he didn't have it. The line was long and another cashier opened right up.”
