“This was a great place to top off my tank for the trip up to the arctic Circle sign. Surprisingly they had a low price for a last chance fill up. The clerk in the store was very nice and the store seemed pretty well stocked.”
“We like the specialty fruits and veggies they get in. Prices for organic berries can often be found cheaper at other grocery stores but some other organic items can be less expensive.”

“I have had good experiences at the Safeway store. Helpful staff and generally good customer service. They have found and held my cell phone twice. Tonight I was ecstatic to find Rustic Multigrain Baguettes. I can rarely find these in either Fairbanks store. This is the best multigrain bread in town and the perfect size for someone who lives alone and normally has to put a loaf of bread in the freezer to keep it fresh. I wish I could figure out a way to know when it is available.”

“I was a customer of theirs at the old location 6 years ago. I really like the new shop! It's several times bigger and has even more great items. The prices are comparable to local foods in Costco. The breads are very nice. Many if these items are unique to this store. I like all the canned and other fish.”
“Pumps are on 24/7! Saved us on our way home from the Artic Circle. Due to an illness, we had to turn around just before Coldfoot late in the evening and was not able to top off. Thank you!”

“I like their grocery selection. Store brand with good prices. Handicap access. Wide isles to roam. They have a great selection of fruit and vegetable trays made in store. Kind of higher prices from other local grocery stores. They carry vegans options I love! In store pharmacy.”
“We couldn't find free air anywhere around town and they had it! Answered the phone quickly and answered our questions. Gas is priced around the same as everyone else around town. Good selection of snacks and drinks.”

“I was impressed with the variety of Alaskan made & grown goods. I didn't realize so many different non food items were made in the local area. It would be great to see more veggies however it is early in the growing season. Keep up the good work and variety.
I picked up an "Adventures with Herbs in Interior Alaska" that I've never seen before and I've lived here since I was a kid. I'm going to expand my knowledge of what is available locally.”
