“I saw the negative reviews that seem to come from negative people. Walk PAST the Avis sign on top the containers and take a left up the steps into a little store RED door(Do NOT try the blue trailers before the sign with white doors) inside the store the store manager will take care of you and he is a nice, easy going guy. We got a nice Toyota SUV and are sitting in front of the 1-way tunnel ready to leave town at the full hour.”

“Cute little inn. Whittier is a really tiny place so not a lot to do here (especially in shoulder season). They have a decent restaurant (again nothing special but better than expected) and a fun bar with live music. The bar/ tavern is probably the only place open late (in late season) so by the end of the night, i was drinking with transient workers, fishermen and boat captains. And live music. Cheap, strong and okay cocktails.”
