She starts to whine the closer we get to Central Bark and cannot get out of the car fast enough once we arrive. When I pick her up she’s in no hurry to leave and acts like this is her home!
Just goes to show how well she is cared for! I highly recommend them to care for your fur baby!

Our 13-month-old German Shepherd cross, Onyx, can be quite reactive, and this was her very first grooming experience. We wanted her groomed so she could look her absolute best for our wedding pictures with her and the family, and the entire team was so patient and understanding with her. They took their time, never rushed her, and focused on helping her feel comfortable around both the people and other dogs.
I especially appreciate the care they showed Onyx and how much they prioritized her comfort and well-being. If you have a reactive pup and are nervous about how they might handle grooming or how stressed your dog might be, I would absolutely recommend giving Pups Best Style a try. They were wonderful with Onyx!
Their prices are also very reasonable, which is an added bonus. Thank you so much to Teri and the entire team at Pups Best Style for taking such great care of our girl! 🐾❤

He is a senior dog with high anxiety around grooming however Clara creates such a loving and positive environment that really helps calm him down and trusts her to do whatever she needs. She is also extremely gentle during the whole process and leaves me at ease knowing he’s being taken care of. His groom always last a long time (for a Pyrenees!) and I’ve noticed a big reduction in shedding since bringing him to Clara. Thank you so much for taking great care of my boy!

I came for a 2nd opinion regarding the medication my cat is on, diabetic, and as well, to make sure she has no underlying other issues. It seems she may well have.
But to spend another $700. On a in depth blood panel analysis is too much for my wallet.

Not only is he extremely thorough and conscientious with diagnosing your pet properly and making sure they are sent home with the right medication the first time, he does what no other Veterinarian I have seen do in over 30 years of owing pets!! He actually books a follow up appointment the following week to double check and make sure your pet is on the right track as far as healing & responding properly to their medication!! I highly recommend him and won't bring my Diablo to anyone else!!

My senior big-ish dog is afraid of floors so the young man at the front desk just moved some rugs around so she could waltz into the exam room. Dr. Madsen got right down on the floor with my doggo and obviously enjoyed chatting with my dog and comforting her before bringing in another aide to hug the dog (restrain her) to give a couple of vaccines. Everyone is lovely on top of professional and knowledgeable. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more.

Westmount Animal Clinic

This week my EXTREMELY FEARFUL REACTIVE rescue dog (whom I love more than life itself) just didn’t seem herself, some sort of general non-specific symptoms. Which for anyone with a dog like this, you know that’s my worst nightmare! Because she absolutely will not tolerate any kind of exams or blood draws or anything. But there it was. Dr Meagan at Westmount listened carefully, made a plan that addressed my dog’s symptoms and her limitations as far as exams, and was able to diagnose a rare life-threatening blood disorder. We started treatment immediately, and she is doing so much better! Once again, the doctor and all the staff have been so patient, kind, and accommodating throughout this complex medical nightmare. I could not be more grateful. These dogs like mine are often met with a hard wall of judgement and shame (I know bc I have encountered it at other clinics) and it means so much to be at a clinic where all types of dogs are considered equally worthy of healthcare. I know my dog is in good hands even is she isn’t friendly or sweet with the staff!
Westmount Animal Clinic is the only clinic I have had that can handle my VERY fearful, reactive dog. They are so patient, kind, and accommodating with her (and me!) that we area actually able to get her vaccinated and take care of other health care issues. That has not been the case at other clinics. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient and the vets are knowledgable and confident. I can not recommend this clinic enough, and it's also one of the few left that is still independent and local!

I'd like to extend a HUGE shout out to Elana for initiating an appeal on our behalf when Trupanion refused to cover Periodontal disease x-rays and cleaning, an extraction for our dog, Biscuit. They said that we didn't do it within 3 months of our vet's recommendation. Elana went the extra mile and went to bat for us without us even asking her to! Because of her appeal, we got about $2300/$2900 covered because she's just amazing and next level st her job!!! Thank you, Elana! 🥰

I knew that I needed to find the right veterinarian to stand by my dog and help me make sure that he or she was safe healthy and happy. Well, it took a few calls, but I found Dr. Kyle. He’s been a godsend for me. Patient when I’ve been neurotic and worried about nothing, never taking advantage of my worry, not afraid to give it to me straight, and always putting my girl’s best interests and health before anything else. He’s given me tips for training, praise for the little wins he’s noticed, and been a steadfast supporter. I’ve gone toe to toe with Dr. Wendy, and honestly, she was right about what she said, and I was not able or ready to hear her. So while I prefer to work with Dr. Kyle, I have absolutely no concerns now, many years later, of working with Dr. Wendy. The rest of the staff is just as kind. In fact, it’s something to see the clinic work, because if you pay attention, the staff at the front keep the clinic running as much as the Veterinarians do. This clinic will remain the clinic for this Service Team, no matter where we live in the city. I’m so thankful for having stumbled across this clinic back when my girl was just a pup. I bet we wouldn’t still be working if it wasn’t for this Clinic. Thank you for everything that you do!

We used Muttley Crue for our pup Stevie's first daycare while on vacation in Calgary this past June and we couldnt be happier!!
They understood her needs and adjusted her stays during the day, everyone we met there was amazing and you could tell they loved their job. All had nothing but great things to say about our girl. Loved the first day report card for Stevie and everyone absolutely loved her and they took great care of her.
I really wish Muttley Crue was based out of Winnipeg so we can keep taking her.
If your looking for a doggy daycare while on vacation, this is the place to use.

We hired private trainers and bought every lick mat and puzzle we could find for our little handful. NOTHING was as impactful as Gordie’s time with Jess! A visit or two per week and after 3-4 weeks, we have the sweetest, well-trained (for a terrier pup) little pal we could want.
If you have a challenging puppy, the investment is SO worth it.
He’s moved on to doggy day care, which he absolutely loves, but he still misses his time with Jess.

The mango-coconut muffin and the latte, just amazing. The muffin especially, was perfectly sweet, which brought out the flavours so well. The mango filling in the middle and the mango chunks in there, just heavenly. Such a great ambience. Super clean, great service. While I was here, I felt like everything my eyes fell on was put there with so much care and purpose. It’s so great to be in a place that someone has put together with so much passion for the work they do. Because the entrance to the cafe is not through the front, but through a side door past a main door, anytime someone opens the door you are not startled by the road noise. As someone who loves to be in places with minimal noise interruptions, I really appreciate the tiny little bell when the door opens. It just makes the sweetest little ‘ting’ as compared to the loud electronic‘TING TONG’. The song was played on the perfect volume too, not overwhelming the space at all. A more selfish part of me wants to keep this cafe a secret for just myself. But a better part of me wants everyone to know. And an amazing cafe like this makes me want to get a loudspeaker out and just scream out the great things about this place, till everyone gets Frida’s mango muffins.

I tried the blueberry muffin and the banana chocolate chip muffin; I really liked the blueberry one, while the banana chocolate chip wasn’t quite to my taste.
The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall, a great stop before heading to Glenmore Park!

New professional Building, 125 Oakmoor Pl SW 2nd Floor, CalgaryWe took our 12-week-old baby here to get a passport photo, and I cannot recommend it enough! Incredible customer service. They were courteous and washed their hands before they picked up our baby after previously dealing with a customer right prior, and were genuinely welcoming and helpful.
If we have more kids, we will be coming back here to get the passport photo done. Was an absolute piece of cake!

It provides education and information to help prevent animals from ending up in the shelter in the first place. It provides extensive training for the volunteers and those that work at the Calgary Humane Society and best of all it turns sad stories into success stories, struggling families into reunited families, and purpose for those looking to volunteer and contribute.
It is a safe Haven for those who need a little help and time to get on their feet financially or health wise. The CHS doesn’t make you feel guilty when you love your pet dearly but have no means to provide. The emergency boarding program gives these loving pet owners a chance to access care and boarding for their pet with loving foster homes that will care for them like thier own pets.
I love that Calgary Humane Society has implemented this program.
We have adopted and fostered many animals over the years and love that Calgary is home to such a wonderful organization. If you have ever thought about fostering with the Calgary Humane Society, just go for it!! It’s very rewarding
