Last Saturday, I came here to drop off an Amazon return. When I walked in, a female staff member was taping a box and looked very tired. As soon as I entered, she asked me in a very impatient tone what I needed. I explained that I was doing an Amazon return and assumed it would be a simple QR code scan drop-off, similar to Canada Post.
After hearing that, she rolled her eyes and impatiently told me that I needed a box. The whole interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
However, today completely changed my experience.
I was helped by Daver, and the difference was night and day. As soon as I walked in, he stood up and greeted me warmly. This return had multiple labels and I was a bit confused about what to do, but Daver patiently explained everything and reassured me that once I handed it to him, it would be taken care of.

“I usually come here because it’s the closest location to my home, but I’d been putting off the trip for weeks since I had several packages to return. I finally stopped by after work and walked in with an armful of returns—so many that I felt a bit embarrassed.
The staff member who helped me was incredibly patient and kind. I had to make a couple of trips back to my car, and he never once seemed rushed or annoyed. I even realized I hadn’t printed one of the return slips, but instead of asking me to come back, he took the time to help by scanning the number.

What impressed me most aside from the excellent customer service was the cost. The final price was about half of what other couriers were asking, which made a huge difference. Their transparency and willingness to help me find the most reasonable option really stood out.
Interestingly, while at the DHL office, I met someone who would be travelling to my package’s destination in a few days and could have taken it for free.
