“Walked into the High River Fas Gas just wanting a cold drink and some lotto tickets. The second I stepped in, the guy behind the counter beamed and hit me with, “Hey Boss! What’ll it be, Boss?”
I wasn’t his boss. I’m still not. But he kept calling me Boss the whole time, like I owned the place and was there for a surprise inspection.
By the time I grabbed my tickets I was casually checking the shelves like upper management. The service was ridiculously fun and made me feel weirdly powerful for a quick stop.
10/10 – Best ego boost in Alberta. Will return when I need to feel like the king of rural gas stations.

“I was stuck at this gas station for about 4 hours last night after locking my keys in the car. It was a terrible snow storm and I really appreciate how well the staff treated me while I was there while waiting for a tow to unlock my car. They were a lifesaver and I will definitely be back!”

“Nice people working here and they have a well kempt store with everything you'd expect from a gas station. Plus, they have a small kitchen open around meal times. Tried their spring rolls and they were hot, fresh and tasted good!”
