“Compared to meat shops in major cities in Ontario the selection presented isn't as much at the meat counter. But this could be because the owner only brings things to the meat counter if they are asked for (from previous experience).If you come early in the morning you may find yourself waiting a bit longer than the typical meat shops I've been to if you are asking for ground beef (coming from Ontario). You can call the store and schedule meat to be prepared prior to coming to save yourself some time.Other than meat, you'll find other food items commonly used in Arabic and Asian cuisines there. There are some other convenience store items for sale as well.For the stuff I buy (limited set of items), I find the prices are never more than the prices compared to the Real Canadian superstore and sometimes cheaper.The owner is polite and courteous.”

“A nice selection of quality fresh produce at good prices. A very friendly and generous owner who gave me approximately 4.6 kg of slightly off tomatoes he had rejected. I felt it reasonable to pay something for the tomatoes, not necessarily full price but something, as most were still usable. But he would not accept any payment. He only sells the very freshest of produce.”

“Sobeys in red deer lovely store so clean. The displays of the vegetables fruit meat bakery are very appealing.
Another thing about Sobeys they have a community board.
It’s in the lobby when you come in. You can put up a for sale, sign community event something of interest.”
“Very fresh made salads and desserts. They also have a really great deli as well to grab what ever want with a great variety. Ready made sandwiches as well as hot food to choose from to. Also they have fresh vegetables and fruits to choose from to a little bit of everything. Really like a classy clean convient store but with a higher end selection to get quality foods, produce and products.”

“My wife and I were are your store on March 7 2026. We were there to pick up vegetable, cheese ,meat trays . Along with plates ,cutlery and and a cake the our son had ordered. The choices and quality of the products was top notch. The cake that was pre-ordered was for my son's and daughter inlaw baby reveal The cake was better than perfect. The store layout and appearances are amazing. Our Trans number 756 and the cashier whom we went to was Cindy. Cindy was extremely pleasant and professional. Such a welcoming personality. What a great way in completing our shopping to have outstanding customer serve with so much warm pleasantries. Thank so much Cindy regards Rick Abrams and Deborah Bonville for Calgary. “Has good deal weekly ,but the other stores in red deer do not price match with this company, but will continue to shop here time to time. Also only store to make shortbread cookies without the icing on it .Just taste better that way”
