“Great clothing selection. Though their home goods area is wanting for a lot. Your better off going to baseline Home Sense if your looking for blankets, pillows, candles or things of that sort as this location has a very basic and limited selection.”

“I went into the Canadian Tire at Emerald Hills today to purchase a smoke detector and also some sidewalk ice melt. As I am not really familiar with this location as I live closer to the location on Wye Road as soon as I walked in I was immediately struck by how large the store was. I looked around for an associate to just ask where I needed to go and I found Michael and I asked him where I could find smoke detectors and the sidewalk ice melt. He immediately informed me that the smoke detectors were in aisle 18 and then he said the ice melt is this way and walked me right over to the selection of ice melt. I had a picture on my phone of the particular brand that I required because we have pets and I inquired about the other brand and he explained the difference between the two. So once I decided the pet brand was the one I needed he asked how many bottles I required and then placed them in my cart.

From there he then directed me to the section where the smoke detectors were located and once I arrived I noticed that they were all locked up. I then found Morena who helped me find the smoke detector best suited for my needs. She then explained that she had to walk me to the till as it was an item that was locked up to which I said that she did not have to explain as I had worked in retail and customer service and completely understood and appreciated. Along the way I stopped and picked up some washer fluid and I also stated that I would like some extra batteries for the smoke detector which we also stopped and picked up.

Once we got to the till Morena quickly processed my sale and was so friendly and I asked her if they had customer comment cards that I could fill out about my experience. She informed me that I could check at customer service but she was pretty sure that I had to do a google review and I said that I was more than happy to do both. So I am very happy with my experience today and with both the wonderful customer service that I received from both Michael and Morena. It has been a long time since I have had associates go out of their way to not only provide me with a positive customer experience but to also show that they enjoy their job and work for a great employer. Good job Canadian Tire ???”

“Posting this review as im currently still dealing with the auto service department, unfortunately after my out of province inspection was completed the pdf of the certification wouldn't load for them. Its been stressful trying to get everything put together, so was a bit of a tense individual when I called in today.

Special shout out to Cody for explaining the process and dealing with me being a stressed out dummy lol.
