“Black Mountain nursery is a local nursery run by Kelly, who sells a good varieties of drought tolerant plants among others.I bought some herbs and strawberry plants for a planter and they have been doing well after two weeks. I also bought red yuccas and Kelly was kind to explain how to plant and take care of them. They're also doing well.Prices are generally lower than big box stores. Highly recommend for you DIY gardeners out there.”

“I've had super good luck with their plants from here. We have a raised garden and it's typically most affordable to come get our produce from here. I am someone who uses transplants and not seeds, and they have a wide variety of options here. The reason for my 4 stars is that their plants are not always correct for the season were in. Make sure you look online to make sure the items can grow during the time of year that they are selling them. Otherwise, you are just wasting your money. I also didn't have the BEST luck this last time because I wanted some Basil and a Cayenne plant, and they were out of both. They just need to up their stock during the busy season. They also carry manure, soil, compost, etc. overall, they really have such a great selection and their customer service is great!”

“Fairly decent Home Depot. Store is clean. Associates are actually quite helpful, and if they can't help, like when I was in electrical, they went out of their way to help find the answer and get the right person. Only issue I've had is incorrect price tags. A chair said $20, but another label said $25. Same with a shovel. And other products are just overpriced (looking at you Hampton Bay) when compared with the quality of the brand. I'd highly recommend this HD over the Lowe's across the street.”

“This is the place to go if you are looking for native plants. Such better selection than the other nurseries in Phoenix. Staff was helpful, prices were great on shrubs (cacti were more expensive than average in my opinion) and they had plenty of small young sizes to choose if you're on a budget. One of the only places in the valley with reliable milkweed.”
