“Learning all sorts of stuff on how one would become a member of an American legion. Or how to "hang out" if you're not one. This place is not open to the public. This is private property, all American legions are. I attend her a few times a year for bike nights and car shows, and it is never a bad time here. I always enjoy myself.i love the people, I love the atmosphere, I love the drinks. To be able to come in here and hang out and not be a member, you have to have a host, so someone you know who is a member who is there at the current time. To become a member you don't have to be a vet, but you must have someone in your immediate family who is and you have to receive their DD214# to apply for a membership. The membership works at any American legion in the entire county. Pretty cool honestly. This is the kinda place I'd do if I wanted to get a little buzzed, knowing that the people I'm surrounded by are all like family and trust worthy. They would keep you safe no matter what.”

“I highly recommend The Recovery Cafe and Anthony Eaton to anyone who will listen. My journey began with detox, residential treatment, sober living, and 12-Step Recovery. I relapsed after having time in the past. I was already familiar with 12-Step Recovery as a modality of treatment and was struggling to get involved with the recovery community. As most of my friends and colleagues had since either passed away or moved on with their lives. Anthony was one of the few people who extended a hand. And the timing was impeccable. Because I was about to walk away from the recovery community altogether. The gap that he and The Cafe address and aim to bridge/fill is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. He is so kind and so welcoming. His methodology is all-inclusive and all-encompassing. I personally love him and his approach. The “come as you are” mentality is what people brand new to sobriety/recovery really need. ♡”

“I am very grateful to the Chandler Care Center for helping us maintain our children's dental health through regular check-ups. We have now moved to Florida, and I’m saddened to see that there doesn’t seem to be a similar care center here. The health check-up documents for our move to Florida were also taken care of here, and both the nurses and doctors were very kind. Although my English communication was not perfect, they were very patient and connected us with interpreters when needed. We also received our children's vaccinations here. We received so much help, and I am truly thankful. I hope everyone stays healthy.”

“When I moved to Gilbert this year January, I attended several clubs as guest, NHTM stood out for me because besides the regular toast masters tasks, I had lot of fun. There is lot of passion, learning, encouragement, and fun in the meetings. It was an easy choice for me to pick NHTM. If you are looking to improve and grow your soft skills, personal & leadership skills in a friendly and supportive environment, I highly recommend you to check us out.”

“I give this five star review reluctantly, as there are issues with the post. But I’ve been to several American Legions and this one is still the best.

Commander Dave is amazing, and honestly holds this place together, the bartenders are all excellent as well. Most people in the post are friendly and genuinely try to make you feel at home.
That said, there are cliques and you can feel like an outsider if you’re not a part of them. A lot of high school shit goes on here, and it’s annoying to say the least.
Overall, great post, but there are definitely people to stay away from here. You’ll find out who they are soon enough if you make this place your home.”

“Learning Transcendental Meditation is the best thing I ever did in my life. I have been meditating regularly since 1975.Some people suggest learning online, in my opinion that's a big mistake as the live initial teaching is precious, sublime and provides an invaluable connection the tradition from which TM comes.”

“Kids love to come here and find treasures, it's also why I love to shop here. I've found great finds like things I need to expensive items to resell. Always have an eye out for a diamond in the ruff.”
