“My 12 yr old dog had severe diarrhea for a week. I took her to a vet in Mesa and afterward she started going downhill fast. My daughter got her an appointment at this animal hospital right away. They listened to my concerns, looked over the current treatment plan and then proceeded to test for Parvo and take X-rays to see if she had a blockage. She was given fluids for dehydration and prescribed antibiotics and a dewormer. Also an appetite stimulant to get her to eat again. I began to see improvement after the 2nd dose of antibiotics. By day two she is eating and drinking water and slowly recovering. I was doubtful she was going to pull through as she had dropped 5 pounds in 3 days. I was told I could bring her back on Saturday to learn how to administer IV fluids at home. But I felt she had improved enough to make it through the weekend. I am so grateful for the staff at this clinic for being so thorough and gentle with my fur baby. They went over costs with me and were honest about treatments. They did not try to sell me stuff I didn’t need. I am so thankful for the medical professionals at this hospital. Even though the costs were significant, I got results this time and the answers I needed to move forwsrd.”

“With a 15 year old corgi, I've visited my fair share of vets throughout the Valley. Dr. Chen is one of the best! He is kind, caring, and knowledgable. He provided a thorough physical examination of my fur baby, without putting him through costly and unnecessary diagnostic tests or treatments. He even suggested a simple solution to my pup's slipping back feet and pulled the booties up on Amazon for me. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, without making me feel rushed, spending a full 30 minutes with me and my pup. The receptionist was also great and very accommodating; she squeezed me in for a same-day appointment at no extra charge. The vet visit was very affordable. I arrived a few minutes early and was called back two minutes before my scheduled appointment time by Dr. Chen himself! In a world where 30+ minute waits are standard, I appreciated my timely appointment. My pup was seen immediately by Dr. Chen without having to wait for a tech to grab his vitals and perform an intake assessment. Thank you Dr. Chen and Pride Animal Hospital!”

Our dog requires another orthopedic surgery after having a TPLO procedure last year at a different veterinary office. Unfortunately, that prior experience was deeply disappointing and felt very much like a “herd them in, herd them out” operation. The level of care and compassion shown to both us and our dog at that previous clinic was completely unacceptable, and we knew we had to find a better option this time.
After extensive research, we chose Family VetCare of Chandler, and I can say without hesitation that our first surgical consultation was the best veterinary experience I have ever had.
Dr. Wodiske was absolutely outstanding. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and — most importantly — you can tell he truly cares. He spent a significant amount of time with us, explaining every detail of the procedure, our options, and what to expect. He never rushed us, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and made sure we fully understood every aspect of our dog’s care. His calm, compassionate approach made a huge difference for our very nervous dog, and it was clear that her comfort and well-being were a top priority for him and his team.
What truly set this experience apart was the level of personalized care. Dr. Wodiske and his staff provided us with options that had never even been discussed at other veterinary offices. We felt heard, respected, and supported throughout the entire visit.
We left the appointment feeling relieved, confident, and genuinely grateful — something we never felt during our previous surgical experience. We were so impressed that we immediately scheduled our dog’s surgery and also made the decision to transition her primary care to Family VetCare of Chandler going forward.
As an added bonus, their pricing is much more affordable than other veterinary offices we explored, without sacrificing quality or care in any way.
Our only regret is that we didn’t find this practice sooner. If you are looking for a veterinary team that is compassionate, thorough, honest, and truly invested in your pet’s well-being, I cannot recommend Dr. Wodiske and the entire team at Family VetCare of Chandler highly enough.”
