“Both of my pets are cared for at this clinic. I have a dog and a cat. Both pets require prescription food and one is diabetic. I love the staff here because they care for your pet and understand that costs can be very expensive. They work with tou and are honest about what is necessary and what is not or can wait. Nothing ‘exploratory’ which is what I ran i to at other places. My dog would have had an unnecessary surgery if I had not gotten a second opinion at Topaz- she did need to switch to a prescription food but no one put her under and cut her open for what may not have worked anyway. I get personal phone calls from the doctor about results which I love! I won’t be going anywhere else.”
“This practice is amazing. Every single person we have interacted with from the vets to the nurses and the front office are so friendly and genuinely care about our pets. We’ve been coming for 5 years for regular care and have had several emergencies, a chronic condition, and a surgery here and every single time the staff are supportive, informative, and the follow up is next level. Highly recommend!”
“I love this place. They are very affordable and truly care. Highly recommend.
They have weekly walk-in hours that make getting your pets in very easy.”
“I have been bringing my rescue boy to Southpoint Animal Clinic for at least four years now. I can’t tell you how much comfort it gives me to know that he is in the best of hands and given the best care! The Staff is wonderful, Dr Patty is not only very knowledgeable, she is also the most caring person to the pets and the humans they call family. Dr Patty you and your staff are the Best! I like referring you to all my.friends.”
“I’ve used VCA Animal Hospitals for years for the reliability and decent staff. Having recently moved to Phoenix, I brought my dog here for his latest vaccines and am quite happy with them.”
“This is the best vet I've ever had. Dr Wells has been a vet in Tempe since the 80s. He's a great Vet and a good man. I will always bring my pets here. Update: 5 years later I still fell the same. Prices are high everywhere, his cost for an office visit is more reasonable.”
“I trust every doctor and staff member at Cobblestone Veterinary. This trust has been earned over more than a decade of excellent care for my fur babies who are very comfortable going to their office. I never feel like services are suggested unless they are necessary. I care deeply about my dogs and their health is a priority for me. They care about my dogs and I love that.

“Tempe Lake provided a headache-free experience through and through. From making the appointment, checking in, initial examination and follow up Tempe lake's staff were professional, clear and kind. Even our cat (Naia), who is usually extra stressed at and after vet visits, was quick to warm up to them and return to her usual antics when we got home after the exam and treatment!
Comparing with other clinics, even their treatment plans and pricing were meaningfully less difficult and expensive. As our kitty is getting older, we expect her needs will be growing in time, but we are less concerned with being able to afford to get her the care she needs thanks to Tempe Lake.”
“I have so many amazing things to say about this place. They have always been so welcoming, kind and compassionate.
Last year, unfortunately we had to put one of my family's cats down. They were great at making the appointment, helping us to pay beforehand so we could just focus on our baby, Tippy, the day of. They helped create little Paw Prints, and take some of her fur as well for keepsakes. They all cried with us, the vet tech, the receptionist, and the vet herself. We have never experienced such love and kindness from a vet before. I have never experienced that before.
This past week, I was able to grab a little feral kitten from my garage. I have been working with a non-profit to try and fix the colony we have at my place. Miny Mr. Gromp, was not doing well. My aunt helped so I could try and sign him up for their care club for him. I went in as soon as they opened on Saturday, and Claire, was so kind to me. She let me know they were fully booked, but would see if they could fit him in. She came back a few minutes later, and was able to get him in that morning. If she had not done that, he would have been worse off and passed sooner. I brought him in and Kim got us back right away. My aunt came with me to see what they would say and suggest. I was fully ready and hoping to sign him up for the care club. Not fully knowing how bad his health truly was. Dr. Mercia came in, looked him over, and brought him back for a better look in his eyes and ears. All the while being incredibly gentle and loving on him. When Kim brought him back, she went over the recommended treatments, and we discussed the care club more. She explained it amazingly, but still went and grabbed the Dr. When she came back, she told us that he was half the size he should be, and might have what is known as fading kitten syndrome, or failure to thrive. But at that point, she would recommend trying the treatments, because there was a chance he could get better. However, she would not sign him up for the care club, because if he didn't make it, I would still be locked into it. That in a few weeks, if he showed improvement, we could revisit it then. I had every intention of doing that.
We went forward with the treatment, and they explained everything to me in detail of how do the oral meds, and even gave him the flea meds so I wouldn't need to do it myself. Kim was incredible with all of this.
I got him home, and he seemed to be doing better and I was so grateful for the extra time I got with him, because of their recommendations. He sadly passed away last night, peacefully, in a nice heated blanket in my lap.
Without the incredible staff at this VCA, Mr. Miny Gromp would have suffered worse than he was, and would have passed in pain. I will always be grateful to this team and the team of people who helped my Aunt and I last year with Tippy as well. I will 100% be coming back to this location for all of my future vet needs. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You all are wonderful, and I will never forget the kindness you have shown me, my aunt, and our little fur babies. ❤️
P.S. on the paperwork, it says Dr. Nanette Westhof, but I got two calls yesterday (06/09/26) finally listening to them today, (06/10/26) and I believe the vet who helped us was Dr. Mercia. She has beautiful red curly hair, was helping out that day, and was incredibly kind.
I just got done listening to the voicemail Dr. Mercia left me, and once again I am in tears. You all are beyond kind. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart. She called just to say she was so sorry, we all were hoping he would pull through, that I did everything I could for him, and if I had any questions to please feel free to call. I will never forget this, because of the love and kindness all of you have shown Mr. Miny Gromp. And the compassion, and kindness you have shown my family and I. ❤️❤️”
“I absolutely love Dr Finch and Dr crow. They are thorough and very very very knowledgeable. I am so grateful that I have been able to go to them and my dog loves them too.”
“I love Dr Edwards she seems to really care about my pets and tries to make sure she can solve any issue without charging you an arm and a leg. I recommend her to all my friends who have pets! She's also a vet who actually seems to like cats. If you have cats you may understand that not all of that seem to like cats or want to work with them or want to work with them. But she doesn't seem to have this issue. Honestly, all the staff can't seem to get enough of my cat even though they have their own cats roaming around the office! ❣️”
“Caring, compassionate, Dr. Bebaway & the staff are exceptional! I've been taking my furbabies there for years, & would not dream of going anywhere else!”
“Banfield on McClintock has been a great experience for me. The 4 ☆ stars goes go to all the staff. Thank you so much for your help, kindness, and patience.
I am not a fan of how their plan works. Yet again, it's hard to find inexpensive care for your fur baby.”
“The Vet Tech and Dr were SO friendly and professional. We brought in our new adopted dog Coco from the Humane society for a free exam they offer with adoption and we got amazing service like a hundred dollar visit! Thank you VCA and staff for your wonderful care ❤️”

“Wow I'm so impressed with this place!!! I'll be honest I always get PetSmart and Petco confused so upon moving to Az I accidentally booked at pet smart. I had a horrible experience..... so l was a little hesitant about what my next experience would be like at a different pet store but a lot of small owned businesses here wouldn't take xl dogs. But Petco is a cheaper option out off all the ones I've seen with our dogs needs! I'll tell you we had nothing but a good experience from when we walked in to when we walked out! Nala and willow looked amazing!!!! They were completely dry and smelt soooo good! Nala is a lab so she sheds 24/7 and I'm so impressed with how much hair they got off of her! She looks so much lighter! Their coats are so soft and they were not scared or anything upon pick up!! They must of loved it! Honestly we will never go anywhere else! 10/10 with this Petco! Plus you get a punch card on the app and you get amazing discounts on the grooming! Thanks so much you guys! I'm glad we found a place like this!”
“They took care of my frenchie and she has been good ever since they are nice and very communicative me and my frenchie chachita are great full to be in good hands”
“Super friendly front desk staff. Vets are compassionate toward pets/owners. They don't bombard you with a huge list of labs and shots because of corporate sales tactics; instead, recommendations are on a case by case basis.”
