“Hidden Track Bottle Shop is one of those rare places you almost do not want to tell people about, because once word gets out, it will not stay quiet for long.
From the moment you walk in, the space feels chill, quaint, and genuinely inviting. It has that effortless neighborhood feel that is hard to fake. The kind of place where you can settle in, take your time, and actually enjoy the experience instead of feeling rushed. It is absolutely a hidden gem in Phoenix, and honestly, it feels under marketed for how good it is.
Craig, the owner, is a huge part of what makes this place so memorable. He is knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does, without ever making the experience feel pretentious. He guides you with confidence, listens to what you like, and helps you land on something that feels personal. We ended up settling on a Right Bank Bordeaux, and it was exactly the kind of thoughtful recommendation that makes you trust a place completely.
The wine selection is also a standout. Hidden Track has a great collection of underappreciated wines, which makes it far more interesting than a spot that just leans on the same obvious labels. You can tell real care went into building the list. It feels curated by someone who actually loves wine and wants you to discover something special.
The food was every bit as impressive. The crab cake at $15 was absolutely delicious and one of the best values I have come across in a long time. The raclette is something I would heavily recommend, rich, satisfying, and exactly the kind of dish that makes you want to order another glass and stay a little longer. You also have to get the bread and butter. It sounds simple, but it is the kind of simple that reminds you how good the basics can be when done right. The ham was excellent too, and rounded out the meal perfectly.
What really ties it all together is the value. The prices are amazing, especially for the quality, the experience, and the obvious care behind everything they do. Hidden Track Bottle Shop manages to feel thoughtful, relaxed, and special all at once.
If you love wine, good food, and places with real personality, go. Phoenix needs more spots like this.”

“Me and my husband went for strawberry Hennessy frozen drinks and then went grocery shopping. We decided to go back and try a green apple with chamoy and tajin which was the best! We also got a strawberry don Julio. Customer service was great. The young lady at the window was super sweet and recommended the perfect drinks for us!”

“Their staff is very nice and helpful. They sell a LOT of booze. They have a large extent of beer and wine selection. Wines you find them COLD and room temperature. Beers have lagers, red & brown ales, porters and a stupid amount of IPAs. They have a dairy section,a large section of snacks, detergents , soap, shampoo and toothpaste, house cleaning and some automotive stuff. They can also send money, lottery tickets, cigarettes/cigars and some Mexican candy.”

They have a butcher they have seafood yeah Mexican food all fresh a neighborhood grocery liquor store the mixer on pastries and also has a butcher.I never seen nothing like this. The first walked in and there's like a line of 10 people each holding round trays full of pastries. so I got me some also. I was not disappointed one bit.”

“This is a chicken sandwich from the Coronado Bar and Grill, same owner as the Virginia Market. My chicken sandwich was terrific, the chef pressed the chicken so it wasn't just a thick chicken breast on a bun. I appreciate attention to details like that. My husband had a Jalapeño Burger, I don't think it was a frozen patty disk like some restaurants, I think it was shaped by hand like we would do at home. He said it was a very generous size and very delicious, he mentioned that the Jalapeños were grilled rather than raw and he liked that too. The service was great and we had a nice time in the relaxed atmosphere.”
