“Trader Joe’s continues to be one of my favorite grocery stores. They have an incredible selection of healthy foods, gluten-free options, unique frozen meals, quality meats, delicious cheeses, affordable wines, beautiful fresh flowers, and some of my absolute favorite skincare products. It seems like every visit I discover something new to try, which makes shopping there fun.
One thing that consistently impresses me is the staff. Even when the store is packed, which seems to be most of the time, the employees are always friendly, helpful, and incredibly efficient. The checkout lines move surprisingly fast, and everyone genuinely seems happy to be there.
The only downside, and it’s true of just about every Trader Joe’s I’ve visited, is the parking lot. No matter the location or even if you park farther away, it always feels like organized chaos. Navigating the parking lot can honestly be more stressful than the shopping itself!
That said, the quality, selection, prices, and customer service keep me coming back. If you can survive the parking lot, Trader Joe’s is absolutely worth the trip.”
“Cozy, atmospheric spot for grabbing a glass of wine in an old house. They have fun pop-ups with local vendors, and joining their wine club gives you access to free tasting every Wednesday night. Especially love going here in the winter for the hygge vibes.”
“I was in town for work and heard they had the best pizza around, so I had to try it. I ordered the margherita pizza and it did not disappoint…absolutely delicious. And don’t forget to try their ranch ??”

“The best neighborhood smoke shop I’ve ever lived near… and I’ve lived near a bunch! Popeyes on 24th St was my favorite till I moved out here! He’s gone now anyways! Love Eddie and his brothers are extremely detail oriented with the retail stuff they provide! “I love this store and Sammy is so friendly and awesome but I dont feelnsafe there anymore. That bigger guy with the dog and tactical vest gives me the creeps. After he stared me down in and out of the the store a few nights ago and now hes back there again tonight. I'm good man. I know hes not security for the place because the employees inside said he was just a weird guy that hangs out there. Get rid of him man. He just stares people down like hes gonna fight you.”
“Hidden Track Bottle Shop is one of those rare places you almost do not want to tell people about, because once word gets out, it will not stay quiet for long.
From the moment you walk in, the space feels chill, quaint, and genuinely inviting. It has that effortless neighborhood feel that is hard to fake. The kind of place where you can settle in, take your time, and actually enjoy the experience instead of feeling rushed. It is absolutely a hidden gem in Phoenix, and honestly, it feels under marketed for how good it is.
Craig, the owner, is a huge part of what makes this place so memorable. He is knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does, without ever making the experience feel pretentious. He guides you with confidence, listens to what you like, and helps you land on something that feels personal. We ended up settling on a Right Bank Bordeaux, and it was exactly the kind of thoughtful recommendation that makes you trust a place completely.
The wine selection is also a standout. Hidden Track has a great collection of underappreciated wines, which makes it far more interesting than a spot that just leans on the same obvious labels. You can tell real care went into building the list. It feels curated by someone who actually loves wine and wants you to discover something special.
The food was every bit as impressive. The crab cake at $15 was absolutely delicious and one of the best values I have come across in a long time. The raclette is something I would heavily recommend, rich, satisfying, and exactly the kind of dish that makes you want to order another glass and stay a little longer. You also have to get the bread and butter. It sounds simple, but it is the kind of simple that reminds you how good the basics can be when done right. The ham was excellent too, and rounded out the meal perfectly.
What really ties it all together is the value. The prices are amazing, especially for the quality, the experience, and the obvious care behind everything they do. Hidden Track Bottle Shop manages to feel thoughtful, relaxed, and special all at once.
If you love wine, good food, and places with real personality, go. Phoenix needs more spots like this.”
“If you are into craft beer this is your place. Absolutely phenomenal selection of local and regional four pack pints. As an aficionado of NEIPA's and doubles and triples, this is the only place I'll recommend in town aside from Trevor's. Seems like they have a great liquor selection too.”

“This is the best experience i have had on my most recent visit to Phoenix. Alex at the Arcadia location is a legend in my book! I was looking for a particular wine that I had at a local restaurant and was calling places looking for it. From our initial conversation, Alex was enthusiastic about helping me find that wine or finding something similar. He was able to find the exact wine I was looking for and I was thrilled. When I went to Trevor's to pick it up I got to meet Alex and he was just as lovely in person. He gave me a tour and told me all about the restaurant. I was very impressed with the selection of premium wines, spirits and beers they have on offer. I will definitely be back! Thanks Alex!”

Best of all, they have wine for those stressful days! It truly feels like a one-stop shop. “On a recent business trip to Phoenix, we were looking for a local spot to enjoy a cigar and a drink. Curtis and Xavier took such good care of us our during our first visit, and Xavier and Jackson provided great hospitality during our second visit. Let me repeat that, we were in Phoenix for one week and we visited twice because of the outstanding tone and tenor of this speakeasy! Highly recommend this local spot whenever you’re in the area!
Recommendations: Never Late cocktail, amazing on its own, and the Palanco cocktail (Paloma/Blanco) paired with their house cigar, the London Calling Habano Toro Cigar (hand rolled by a Cuban every Friday!). Amaaaazing pairing!!”
