Target is generally known as a good place to shop, with shelves that are often stocked and carts that work. Many customers prefer it over Walmart for a better shopping experience. However, some locations face issues such as messiness and disorganization, especially in certain sections like toys or specific departments. The Gilbert Gateway Target is considered better than other locations, but it still has limited checkout lanes and long lines due to few self-checkout stations. The store environment can sometimes feel dated, especially when the shopping center is partly taken over by apartments, making the area seem less lively. Inside, the store offers average service; some employees are friendly, but others may ignore customers, leading to awkward moments. The store's phone system has problems, with incorrect keypad prompts, making customer service harder to reach. Despite these issues, staff members like those who go above and beyond to help find specific products, such as hard-to-find baby formula, are appreciated. Overall, Target provides a typical shopping experience with some positive and negative aspects, and improvements in organization and staffing could enhance customer satisfaction.
Stopped in Tuesday night for a few things while in town on business. There was a middle-aged woman with long dark haired that helped me at the customer service desk to try out a little fan. Her kindness was appreciated very much. You need more people like her.
