“We are so grateful to have found both Adobe Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Phil Heitman for our little Boston Terrier. What a knowledgable, caring, and professional office for pet care! Our little pup has had a very tough start, having to overcome many difficulties in his first two years of life. Most recently, from January-May, we had visited 2 other local veterinarians that were unable to diagnose and successfully treat our pup in overcoming inexplicable digestive issues. We had also spent a large sum of money on every recommended test in that 5 month span. A neighbor suggested that we try one more vet and call to get an appointment with Dr. Greg or Phil Heitman at Adobe Veterinary Clinic. We were able to get an appointment with Dr. Phil quickly and not only did he successfully treat our little guy- but he was able to get him completely healthy with a few simple treatments & for very reasonable pricing. It was such a relief to have our pup back to good health after that 5 month time period that seemed like forever. Our pup has some fear and anxiety due to all of his past experiences (prior to Adobe), resulting in behavior issues when he is at the vet. The staff at Adobe Veterinary Clinic has been absolutely incredible in the way they handle the individual needs of our pup. They are so understanding, gentle, and open to our input of what works best for our pup. Dr. Phil subsequently neutered our pup and most recently, removed his corkscrew tail due to inflammation and infection. Both surgeries went as expected and were successful in every way. We were so blessed to have Dr. Greg do the tail surgery; as he was in the office that day & noticed the corkscrew infection on his chart, which he has a lot of experience with. We felt so secure to leave him in such good hands. Our pup is now back to the sweet, spunky little guy we are used to at home. He's ready to get out and play and we are so appreciative of this quality care. We highly recommend this office and Dr. Phil and Dr. Greg to everyone!”

We have been going to Dr. Hunt since 1998 when we got our golden retriever puppy. He was there for us when we had to let him move on to the next life too. Very caring and kind veterinarian.”

“I was pleasantly surprised, greeted by the most friendly front counter staff I have ever interacted with at a vet. They started baby talking my dog right when we walked in and made me feel at home.
Place is clean and neat and the doctor was great. I hate going to the vet, I have had accidents where vets accidentally killed one of my pets, so I take caution for this kind of thing. I'm not gonna lie, they cost a ton of money but you get what you pay for. My dog is dealing with a hematoma in his ear and previous vet did not really do much and made me feel like I was a burden for even walking through the door. Left my dog in pain for a week due to refusal of service until I paid for surgery, would not drain the ear.
AZ pet vet drained it, injected meds, updated shots, gave a no flap ear cap and take home meds. I hope this works, if not, they already provided a plan for surgery. They even have payment plans if you need help in a pinch. I look at the extra cost as a conveniens fee for peace of mind that they are actually doing something and actually care.
I would recommend all day.”

My bunny got neutered for a GREAT price and they called me the next day to check up on him after his surgery. I NEVER had a vet call to follow up on their patient. I felt so happy to have a place that cared for my bunny so much and not just collecting the money. I would recommend this place to anyone. AND they board bunnies overnight so this is my 1 stop shop. Since writing this review (and receiving a prompt response from the Medical Director), all of my issues were dealt with and I've received top notch care from everyone at the clinic.
Some notes (1) the ultrasound doctor and her veterinary technician were likely responsible for the nick of Spirit's tummy (2) due to the issue of the prescription not going through for the steroids I received two complementary steroid injections (3) the vet now performs most procedures in the exam room and (4) I feel like I wait shorter times to be seen upon arrival.
Family VetCare has my highest recommendation! Thanks so much for your care and attention ? it means so much to me and my cats.

Dr. Zenk is a good vet, knowledgeable and kind/caring. She knows her stuff, and was able to diagnose my ailing cat. She also provides different options and understands that costs can be high so makes sure you know what is priority to have done if you don't have the funds for more expensive procedures.
The clinic overall needs work in some areas. For example, my cat's prescription wasn't sent in (after one week since approved by the doctor) and they nicked his tummy during shaving for his ultrasound and it's now probably infected. It also took awhile to approve his prescription diet food.
I also don't love how they take the patient to the back and don't do anything in the exam room. Plus, I always have to wait a long time before being seen despite making an appointment and being on time.
I don't know how to feel, the service is sometimes pretty good but other times I don't like the treatment. I think they are understaffed or overbooked or both.
They are pretty responsive with calls and texts though, and I appreciate that. I wish they could get back to me sooner sometimes but I also know they are busy.”

And her vet tech Kristina the dr explain everything to us took care of her and this morning and last night our babies slept all night not having any issues like she was when we took her in the dr did a few things and now this morning she is her self our pup. Highly recommend I know we just found a new vet for our fur babies we felt very very please and spent time to explain and answer our questions Thank you dr Besemer and all for excellent care.”

“This is my new vet, they gave my dog a 3 yr RABIES shot when my old vet wouldn't because I was late in getting it, as a senior citizen living on a fixed income they understand my situation and stated it was not that late. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them to all seniors who like me pinch pennies just to get by. My Max is an emotional an emotional support animal. I rescued him from the Maricopa county animal shelter. And They even clipped his black NAILS for free. I was "over the moon" with joy. “Couldn't be more pleased with the time and care everyone took with our rescue Chihuahua who thinks she's invincible. After an unexpected trip to an ER Vet, we needed a follow-up visit with one of her own. Only having her a short while we were desperately looking for one. They came highly recommended by our daughter in-law and she was not wrong. Dr. Senter explained everything in words we understood with visual aids. She took her time and talked to us and not atvus.
