“Our 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback was not acting like himself…he was lethargic and had loss vision in one eye. Dr. Emily Ozmun was our doc when we first brought him in to Power Ranch. Our boy is very anxious and not a fan of the vet. She and the other techs were very patient and did all the could to slow down and assess him accurately. We had a concern after leaving and Dr. Emily called us back that day. It was identified after tests our dog had Valley Fever. Dr. Emily called us after each blood test to talk with us and make a plan, and even emailed a summary of our conversation so I could properly reiterate it to my partner. She has been truly empathetic and genuine in her care. We’ve all never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes to be seen and all the techs have been amazing. Itll be a journey for us with our pup, but it’s a little less difficult knowing we have a great vet on our side.”
“Yesterday, we brought our 16 year old cat Autumn to Alta Mesa Animal Hospital as she was eating intermittently and had lost weight due to already diagnosed kidney disease. Dr. Jorgensen and Veterinary Assistant Ashlyn made Autumn and us very comfortable during Autumn's exam and diagnosis procedure, and the plan for Autumn's care going forward. We definitely recommend Alta Mesa Animal Hospital for the care of your pets.”

“Have nothing but good things to say about homestead. My blue heeler needs surgery for her ear hematoma and they were great. She gets anxiety really bad when we come in and they handle it great. Won’t take my dogs anywhere else.

Dr Dan is so incredibly smart and personable & he’s great at what he does. As is everyone else that is lucky enough to work there(they DO NOT go through staff like most other vet offices, most have been there an incredibly long time). I feel lucky to live so close and always have a convenient time and place to take my 3 Great Danes and chihuahua mix. I know they’re in the best hands and care.”

“We just switched vets to Dr. Munion. My in-laws recommended her and I just remembered how well that pup was taken care of. I am so happy we switched. Our dog is facing TPLO surgery and we just werent comfortable with not getting a 2nd opinion and it seemed like we were being overcharged. She recommended our surgeon and facility and they actually cap their surgeries (imagine to my estonishment we have to pay the highest cost cause of her large breed and their cap was still cheaper!) i've saved money thru meds already. I didn't switch vets to save money, but to find better care. Her honest pricing was an added bonus. She is very kind and answers all our questions and EDUCATES us. She has her own private practice and its barr none better than any other vet i've been too. We've spent more money to run other tests that our past vet kinda was like its probably fine.. but I feel better with Dr. Munion because she educated us on well know it may not be fine because if she has this or that it will impact her healing and type of meds all need to be changed if her liver numbers are high etc. Look i'm sorry for the rant, but I just want to write an honest review. This woman knows her stuff. AND her staff are fantastic! I can not recommend her enough!”
“My 13 week old Malinoi visited for a check up and vaccinations. The staff was super awesome friendly and professional.
I have one issue, my pooch keeps asking about the pretty tech, “Emma,” who cuddled him and gave him the magical chicken and apple flavored treats. Thank you Emma.”

“This is my new vet, they gave my dog a 3 yr RABIES shot when my old vet wouldn't because I was late in getting it, as a senior citizen living on a fixed income they understand my situation and stated it was not that late. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them to all seniors who like me pinch pennies just to get by. My Max is an emotional an emotional support animal. I rescued him from the Maricopa county animal shelter. And They even clipped his black NAILS for free. I was "over the moon" with joy. My bill was less than $40.00. do your pocket book a favor and make this Vet your vet of choice. Your PET WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT!”
“Apache Trail Veterinary Services (the entire team) are absolutely amazing! I had to bring in my doggo for what I thought was a stomach bug. Turned out to be Parvo something I had absolutely no clue about. The whole team was so kind throughout the entire experience. They were honest, professional and compassionate. They all truly do care for the animals they treat. They were able to explain and help me understand exactly what was going on with my doggo and the seriousness of the situation she was in. They were able to clearly communicate what steps needed to be taken to treat her without any judgment at all on my lack of knowledge. I really wasn’t sure she’d make it and she would not have if it wasn’t for the wonderful team. The vet thoroughly explained treatment options and the seriousness of her illness. The treatment for Parvo is available but very costly. They even took the time to assist me in getting rebate information to help with the costs. After a few days my dog was out of the woods and back to herself. During the entire process if my dog was not in office they called to check on her progress everyday. I’ve had many pets and have been to many Veterinary offices but none match the care, compassion, professionalism and knowledge that was provided by the team at Apache Trail Veterinary Services. I will continue to bring my doggo here for amazing care. If you’re looking for a Veterinary office that will care for your pet like they are family this is the place!”
