“I’ve been coming to Over the Rainbow multiple times, both as a buyer and someone who has sold items here, and my experience has consistently been positive.
The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and respectful. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted, even when they’re clearly busy sorting, organizing, or working through inventory. People don’t always realize how much work goes into running a resale store — from inspecting items to washing and preparing them — and they do put in that effort here.
As far as cleanliness, all clothing is washed before being put out, even if it’s brought in clean. With a store like this — where items are constantly being handled by customers, including kids — it’s unrealistic to expect absolute perfection at all times. That said, if I’ve ever noticed a minor issue, they’ve always been reasonable and willing to adjust pricing.
Pricing is actually one of the best parts. Compared to places like Goodwill (especially without a coupon), their prices are fair and accessible. And as someone who has sold to them, yes — they buy at lower prices, but that’s exactly what allows them to keep items affordable for the community.
I’ve seen some of the negative reviews, and honestly, they don’t match my experience. Policies like asking for documentation for discounts are standard in retail — that’s not unreasonable, it’s just how businesses operate. One difficult interaction doesn’t reflect the overall environment of the store.
Overall, this is a hardworking, community-focused shop with fair pricing and kind staff. I’ll continue to support them.”

“My wife has a Mexican Folklore dance group in Tucson and they needed some items to complete their costumes for an upcoming annual show. We found this hidden gem of a store hidden inside Central Mart in South Phoenix. They have a huge inventory of Mexican Folklore/Folklorico outfits including Sombreros, dresses and Charro suits, and hundreds of other accessories.
We have made 4 trips to Phoenix cause there is not places in Tucson for these type of items.
Very happy with owners Norma & Victor as they are so knowledgeable in the Mexican dance arts.”

“I’ve visited H&M many times, and it’s consistently a great experience. The store is always clean, well-organized, and fully stocked, which makes shopping easy and enjoyable. The employees have been kind and welcoming during every visit, which really stands out.
There are plenty of dressing rooms available, and having an attendant there to assist keeps everything running smoothly. The kids’ selection is also outstanding, so many cute and stylish options to choose from.
Overall, a reliable spot for great finds and a pleasant shopping experience every time!”

“This spot is great if you know what to look for and like to shop-hunt. Lot's of great prices but hidden within their average stuff is really nice stuff that is priced very well. Come here expecting to dig for the gems or come back later when they restock. Otherwise most items/prices resemble closely to that of a Ross store with bargains being the focal point.”

“I recently visited Kid to Kid Tatum, and I had a really positive shopping experience. The store was clean, well organized, and had an excellent selection of gently used children's clothing, shoes, toys, and baby gear. It was easy to browse, and I found several quality items at great prices.”
