The self-checkout experience has been frustrating at times, with slow processing, items not being detected, and screens locking, leading to delays. Security measures, like being followed by staff, have made some customers uncomfortable. I submitted a request for a specialty cake for my son's birthday at the bakery and 6 days later no call after they said they would call with pricing and confirmation. After several failed attempts to call and get through to the bakery department I went with Safeway on Osborn instead.
