“Phenomenal staff…everyone is so unbelievably kind and loving. We typically see Dr. Schneider and she goes above and beyond to care for my dog, as if he was her own. All other vets and vet techs I’ve interacted with have been empathetic, friendly and caring. I am so grateful that this office is just down the road from me but would continue to travel to this location if I ever moved. Would recommend to anyone in the valley needing a new vet.”

“The folks at Norterra PetVet saved my dog's life. He had an acute splenal torsion that was life threatening, and would have killed my otherwise healthy, 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. They helped identify what was wrong and immediately get him to a hospital in Peoria for a blood transfusion. He is now at home and in recovery. Thank you guys so much.”

“Few years ago, we had to put down our boxer and the person who came over was unpleasant to say the least. Today, unfortunately we had to put down our second four legged baby, JJ. Dr. Fixler and his team are amazing! It was like having a family member come over, be compassionate and absolutely lovely! He explained the process, gave us time to say the goodbyes and then completed everything is a slow and caring way. As hard as it was to let go of our little man, Dr. Fixler eased that pain!!”
“The entire staff was all around pleasant and very gentle with my fur baby Shug who was very ill. I didn't have an appointment and was still seen within 5 minutes of being there. They treated Shug and made sure I had everything I needed with good directions on how and when to administer. The whole visit maybe took 25 mins and my Shug left feeling 100× better than he had in days. And the price was very doable and budget friendly. I’ve been taking my lil chihuahua here for palliative care because the other veterinary place kept telling me I needed to put my dog to sleep. Dr. Jensen has been offering Sunny his palliative care for over a year now and he is doing wonderful. No need to shop around, this place is the best! “Our horse needed a lameness exam. (Rope horse). Dr. Vidal did a very thorough work up and outlined a plan of care to.follow. All the staff were friendly and comfortable working with horses. Worth the 75 min drive to get an expert opinion. Fingers crossed our horse recovers.”

“The past few years my lovebird, Peachy, has been going here. She has PBFD so she’s chronically ill and comes here more often than average. She has seen Dr Pilney and Dr Lamb and I feel so confident in both of the doctors abilities.
The vet technicians and the receptionists and these doctors have been so empathetic. There’s no other place I’d want to take her.
Peachy seems to even like interacting with them which is surprising since she was not always comfortable with vets before we started going here. I appreciate that they opt to try less invasive practices first and are responsive for when Peachy needs further treatment.

“We had our first visit for our Great Dane with Dr Martens this week. We have been nervous about finding a new vet since our longtime vet retired and the person who took over was very abrasive and seemed to have no emotion. The front office staff were the nicest people. Very welcoming and recognized our Dane is a nervous girl in new situations. Dr Martens was very sweet and thorough, great with our girl. She didn't immediately go to needing xrays for her limping before trying other care first. So far we are very impressed and hope this will be our new permanent place for our pets.”
“Best local vet for the care of your dogs and/or cats. They were extremely understanding and accommodating when our Siberian husky, Sheba, passed. They handled the entire situation for us.
