“Although its been several years, I felt inclined to write this review. Hopi was amazing with my newly adopted dog, Daisy. Daisy had heartworm when we adopted her. The vet hadn't dealt with a heartworm case in quite a while so she collaborated with an external vet specialist and drew up a treatment plan. Daisy is a small dog and treatment can actually kill dogs. It was a lengthy, sensitive time but Hopi was so great and careful. Daisy would stay there for full days receiving her injections. I think all the techs fell in love with her during this long 12 week process. Its now been 5+ years and we still take Daisy to Hopi for her check ups and she's as healthy as ever. Thank you :)”

“This place! What a wonderful group of people. We were walking to eat dinner across the street when my 14 week old GSD pup stepped on piece of teddybear cholla cactus in the parking lot. She had spines all over her back foot, deep ones. I rushed her right over but they had literally just closed. I knocked on the door and this angel of a woman popped her head over. They took her back and within 15 minutes we were walking out of there cacti free! So grateful! We live 25 minutes away from their office but we'll make the drive over to them for all our future vet needs. Thank you Dr. Wheeler, Desiree, and Tasha! ?”

“My dog ruptured his cranial cruciate ligament and required a timely surgery.
I contacted the reception desk in Glendale. Brooke was helpful in assisting me get an appointment the next day at the Scottsdale location. I met with the surgeon, Dr. Burke and it was determined surgery could proceed that day.
I could not have ask for better service and compassion from all the staff and doctors. It required an overnight stay and I was informed in the evening including a photograph of how my dog was progressing.
Melissa was very thorough in the discharge appointment and now we are on the path to recovery armed with all the information needed for proper care post surgery.

“I looked for a vet I trusted for years before finding Hayden Road. I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. Ryan here for nearly 7 years, and he has helped me through it all (multiple surgeries, end of life services, check ups, etc). He is ALWAYS sympathetic, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. I trust him extensively with my pups. One of my dogs needed a very invasive surgery this week and Dr. Ryan was ill that day. Dr. Arnold stepped in to do the surgery in place of Dr. Ryan. I was reeeeally nervous at first about letting anyone else do the surgery, but he answered all my questions and was extremely patient with me. He did such a great job on the procedure and I am so grateful for everything he did for me and my dog that day. Long story short, I recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone looking for a high quality, trustworthy vet.”

I feel like I won the actual veterinary lottery.
My cat, Baby, is 23 years old. Yes, twenty-three. She has earned every wrinkle, whisker, and ounce of attitude she possesses.
She’s been doing this odd mouth movement after eating, and while my previous vet wasn’t overly concerned, my gut told me to dig deeper.
Enter Dr. Sanders at Scottsdale Cat Clinic, and suddenly the universe felt balanced again.
From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made us feel calm, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. The clinic itself feels like it was designed by someone who truly understands cats, not just medically, but emotionally. Quiet. Peaceful. Respectful of feline dignity.
And then there’s Dr. Sanders.
I have never, in 23 years of caring for Baby, seen a veterinarian be so thorough, patient, gentle, and intuitive. She didn’t rush. She didn’t dismiss anything. She examined Baby with the kind of care you’d expect if she were handling something priceless, which frankly, she was.
What absolutely floored me was Baby’s reaction. Baby, who has opinions. Baby, who does not simply “allow” handling. Baby calmly let Dr. Sanders examine her mouth, her body, everything. I stood there in disbelief. It was like watching a cat whisperer at work.
The nurses and staff deserve their own standing ovation. Every single person was kind, attentive, and clearly invested in making both pets and humans feel safe and heard. No one treated Baby like “just an old cat.” They treated her like the cherished family member she is.
I left feeling informed, reassured, and deeply grateful. If you love your cat. And I mean really love your cat. This is where you go. No question. No hesitation.
Dr. Sanders and the entire Scottsdale Cat Clinic team have earned my trust, my loyalty, and this glowing review. Baby and I are so thankful we found you. ??”

“Visited this center for the first time. The staff was very kind. Initially, there was a misunderstanding regarding the scheduled appointment, but it was addressed and resolved in a professional manner.
I am giving four stars overall. However, my interaction with Dr. Thomas felt rushed. Her opening comment was, “We have multiple questions today,” and before I had the opportunity to explain—information I had already shared with the technician—she began listing them herself. She spoke very quickly and seemed focused on finishing the visit as early as possible, which felt somewhat dismissive.”
“Dr Carla Smith is a gifted veterinary medicine doctor! And the staff at Dynamite Animal Hospital are like a family to me and my doggusses! I came to Dynamite after my previous vet of 10 + years sold the practice and we became dollar signs to the doctors and their staff.
But not at Dynamite! We have standing appointments for our now older dogs who suffer from arthritis and allergies. Additionally, when ever anything arises, Dynamite finds a way to fit us in and they are quick to help in dealing with all the documentation for our pet insurance provider.
I also want to send a shout out to Virginia the nurse/vet tech who recently helped us with Maddie’s ears, as well as Chelsea and Sadie for reminding me of my appointments and Lacy for crunching math with me when we add a new medication to the mix, and Megan who is adept at juggling our Brussels Griffons when I come in! I just want to applaud the entire group; Brianna, Nicole, Lexi, and Danielle!
Thank you for making our pets feel safe and loved and for also appreciating us humans with all our foibles our flaws!

He treated our senior GSD with Valley Fever and a sick kitty with a nasty upper respiratory infection (and a very grumpy cat disposition!) who wouldn’t eat or drink for days. We have tried other vets in the area only to feel frustrated by the level of care received for the prices charged. Four Peaks pricing was very reasonable for the loving care our pets received.
