“My name is Jay Kahe’e and I wanted to sincerely thank the entire Cooper Star Medical Home Supplies staff involved with helping us obtain a mobility scooter for my dad James. Dad suffered a stroke a few years back and has mobility issues. We were able to get a scooter for him initially, but it was whatever we could find and of lower quality. There are very few options available in Hawai’i and fewer that actually ship to Hawai’i. When my wife and I took a trip to Arizona to drop our daughter off to college, we decided to stop and see if it was possible to find a scooter and have it shipped home for dad. That’s when we visited the store in Surprise Az. There we saw a very well kept store and a great lineup of quality scooters to chose from. There we met Candace and another worker(forgive me for not remembering her name). There were very nice. Not pushy or Sales’s, but very knowledgeable and helped us choose a scooter for dad. I then inquired about shipping to Hawai’i and Candace mentioned that this was something that they never did before but would look into it. We walked the strip mall outside for about 35 minutes when Candace called us to let us know that she spoke to Home office and it is possible. We were overjoyed upon hearing that. We had to head back to Phoenix but she kept in constant contact with us to ensure we were informed on everything and completed the sale over the phone. The communication continued for the next month and a half when we received the scooter here in Hawai’i. Needless to say, Dad was elated when seeing his new scooter and you could see his energy surge knowing that he can get around now. We can’t thank you all enough in helping us make this happen for us and our Dad. Candace did mention that being in Hawai’i there are no service options available. This is one of many problems living on and island in the middle of the ocean. But I am considering working to get qualified to do repairs on these scooters if that’s possible. My wife and I are also interested in potentially becoming a Pride scooter provider here in the islands to help other seniors and people with mobility issues increase their quality of life. “Had a recent surgery and needed several pairs of high compression socks that couldn't be found at a CVS or Walgreens so we tried a local spot named MediQuip AZ. This place is great and most likely has whatever you need for medical equipment. Friendly staff and a large selection of everything from walkers and wheelchairs, to bathroom assistive bars, camodes, and home lifts. Would recommend anyone that needs home medical equipment stop in and check it out!”

“This location is one block away from another location by our home. This one has a medical office now built into it. When you walk in the front door you can chose left for medical or right to Walgreens for pharmaceutical. What will they think of next. Pretty smart idea. I love that it is new, bright, and clean. It seems larger than others, but is less busy for some reason. Employees here are super nice.”
