This shop overcharged nearly $900 for spark plug replacement. The unclear voice from the front desk made you felt a different price number until you saw the final bill. The waiting time for the parts (which the shop didn't have and got them from somewhere else) would count as labor hours ($120 / hour). Totally scammed.

This was my first experience at BrakeMax on Houghton and Valencia. It was a very very good first time with a pleasant team and excellent service and follow through. They explained in consumer-language why they were making the suggestions for maintenance and repairs. Five stars for this first event at this BrakeMax.
