“Nice Kohl's store. Good selection. While I don't find pricing as good as it used to be I will pay a small premium to touch what I'm buying. I did specifically find it ridiculous that a shirt I wanted to buy that was on clearance rack was originally priced at $64.50 and clearance price was still up at $42.75. That's hardly clearance pricing. ALL stores need to stop stocking so many smalls in men's sizes, the vast majority of us are no where near a small size. I worked in retail at one time and this has been an issue for decades. How does your data support this buying method when clearance racks are full of mainly small sizes? Smarter buying would help sales.”

“Jasmine was absolutely incredible and helped me and my husband find my first pair of pants that finally fit and even reach the floor! No tall pants have ever been able to achieve it! Jasmine was such a sweet lady and didn't hesitate to give me several pairs to try on to ensure the fit was perfect and her smile lit up the whole store! She went back and forth with me and several customers as well as checking people out at the same time flawlessly and made it took effortless. If she hasn't gotten a raise already, she definitely should!”

“Went to Macy’s today to look for a watch strap and walked through the MAC display on the way and asked the person standing there if they could direct me. They then told me that my eye makeup was on point but could they apply some lipstick for me on the way to the watch straps. Michael Cassidy was their name. Anyways, while applying lip liner and some lipstick, we engaged in some small talk and I mentioned the last time I bought MAC was years ago. Without pressure, I was told the names of the lip liner and lipstick and was told that if I’d like them on the way out to stop by.
I didn’t find a watch strap today, but I stopped back by MAC for that lip liner due to Michael’s amazing, friendly, non pushy sales approach. I appreciated it very much.”

“Love this place for cute, quick and inexpensive gifts. All the employees look very young (to be expected for a store geared towards gen z), but also very well trained and helpful. I’d especially like to call out the girl who helped me, cute thin blonde. Her name started with an S. Maybe Sierra? Skylar? It was a trendy modern name like that. Sienna! I’m glad I remembered because she was a phenomenal help - so incredibly friendly and I could tell she really knew the store and the merchandise. She provided service that was definitely several notches above what you’d expect from a teenager. When I go back, I will look for only her to help me. Wish I knew her schedule.”
“I had such a great experience at Boot Barn on Oracle. The employee Jose was the who helped me he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient and greeted me with a smile right when I walked in. I recently gained some unexpected weight and was unsure of my pant size and instead of trying on different size pants, he suggested what size I would fit into. He went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for and made the whole shopping experience easy and enjoyable even though I was dreading going in due to my size. I even bought a new brand of pants that he suggested that was the newest style. It was like having a personal style assistant. It’s refreshing to receive such great customer service. Boot Barn is lucky to have an employee like Mr. Rodriquez.I’ll definitely be back!”

“I came in with my Mom around 11:00 a.m. today (October 7th 2025). All of the staff were very friendly but Sophia (Sofia? Sorry!) who was working in the petite women's department was very helpful and friendly.
Stephanie, working up front at the cash register, really stood out to me, because she was greeting customers as they came in and out of the store. I have not seen anyone do this in a very long time! She was very polite and had a bright smile on her face. Also, the last time I came into this Kohl's the cashier was VERY VERY pushy about me trying to open up a credit card account. I had to say no three times. I don't want to say that employee's name because I don't want them to get into trouble and it seemed like they were having a bad day.
Most stores have extremely rude staff nowadays. For example, the last time I went to Walmart, I asked a customer service associate where I could find towels. They rolled their eyes at me, and then he pointed in the direction of the towels. Although, I guess it was my bad because they were trying to play on their phone!
My point is, I really appreciate young ladies like these two today because it's very rare and hard to find good working, friendly employees.”
