“Love this place. Great prices, knowledgeable friendly staff, have very unique and interesting variety’s all sizes it seems. They will box for airplane- I carried on my finds- (and I believe they ship).”
“Famous place that's been around a long time. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The grounds are small but packed with lots of really interesting plants.”
“Rillito Nursery has a wide assortment of native plants. It's a pleasant place to walk around and look at all the plants. Knowledgeable staff. Fair prices.”
“I am from out of State and called for help in choosing a tree best suited for the Tucson area climate. It was for a special occasion and had allot of questions. I preferred the tree be delivered. I worked with Elizabeth. She offered Planting as another service and agreed. She was extremely easy and wonderful to consult with and secured the right tree for my needs. Very personable and offered custom notes with the delivery as well as basic care instructions. Highly Recommend these folks. They have my business for any future needs. Thank You to
Harlow and high kudos to Elizabeth!

“I love this place. It's such a BIG place with so much to see - I've bought many plants and pots over the years - but I've also come just to enjoy the scenery when the weather is nice. Happy to have Green Things in my hood :)”
“Last option for an essential part to complete my project. The customer service hit me first, I was greeted and help was immediately offered. This will be my first option in the future, thier inventory was immense and well organized.”
“Somehow this place has been in my regular rotation and I’ve never put it into words, which feels like an oversight because Civano Nursery is genuinely such a fun wander. It’s way bigger than it looks from the outside, and every visit has a little surprise. Last time it was goats and chickens just casually hanging out, which makes plant shopping feel way less serious. Great indoor plant section, tons of cactus, fruit trees, and everything is really well laid out so you can just meander without feeling cramped. There are also a couple newer seating areas that feel like they’re made for events or just lingering a bit longer.
I pop in often, sometimes even mid run since it’s right by the trails and has a restroom which is a major bonus. Service has always been solid and the whole space is really well maintained. Only downside is pricing can feel a little steep, especially for decor, so it’s worth timing a sale. Still, it’s one of those spots that’s easy to enjoy whether you’re buying or just browsing.”
“Excellent service from Acme Sand and Gravel! Baily was great helping us pick out gravel and recommended and arranged delivery with a third party company that also provided first rate service. Highly recommend!”
“They have a wonderful selection of native species, many of which I couldn’t find at green things. Reasonable prices and a friendly and knowledgeable proprieter - a hidden gem and well worth checking out.”
“Desert Survivors is the best place to get them plants. This a Program that helps those who can’t help themselves but being able to teach them how to survive out in the world. It’s the love ? of nature and pride that comes from their hard work, ? I know because I too love to plant ?. This gives them the ability to grow in their own way in time. I used to own a property by Starr Pass on the golf course and sold it a few years ago and I would pass by that place so many times. It’s always a great spot. It’s quite nice ? to see the different varieties of plants and how well the place is kept. I have stopped by there many times and the people there are so friendly and welcoming. Please join and support your local Nursery! ?oh, as a matter of fact, I know a young man that used to work there., they gave him a job and it was the best job ever. They gave him a chance. He was very grateful he said to me.”
“My 5 year old son is very interested in us building him a pond. I took him to this business and he LOVED it. Beautiful ponds, plants, and absolutely amazing koi. We got some great ideas for when we are ready to build a pond, and the owners let my son feed the fish. I highly recommend.”
“The prices here are very fair. There is an overwhelming amount of options to choose from. Smaller house planters, giant planters, yard decorations, Talavera, and bird baths. I came to pick a pot for a big monstera plant. The owner was kind enough to carry my plant through the store to help me find the perfect pot. He loaded my car, did the heavy moving and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you 🙏🏼”

“Nightwatch over a 40 acre recycle and landfill yard...easiest security gig I have ever done and just 5 ½ hours every night! No uniform required and a truck is provided for patrols so you can avoid getting a flat on your own personal vehicle. Pay is descent and has good benefits which includes PTO, matching 401K. In addition to that...I work for a cool, calm, and collective supervisor who is very understanding. Love working for this company!”
“Vince and Cody are a breath of fresh air. Young, professional, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to serve their customers. Very impressed with their product knowledge & service…”
“All the guys at Horrizon are VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I have been going to Horizon for all our needs whether it's irrigation or lighting or even tools, they always have the best quality products and tools.”
“Civano Nursery is a wonderful local business in Tucson. The staff assisted me with the selection of plants and pots and scheduled the delivery of two items. Then, Dan and Tony contacted me in advance of their delivery and worked with me on the placement of the plants. Before leaving my home, Dan and Tony made sure they cleaned up after their work and asked if I had any follow-on questions. It was a pleasure making a purchase from Civano Nursery.”
“Had to get a rush order of flowers for a funeral due to a failed web order from another company. They delivered it to the mortuary in under an hour. Awesome job.”
“Visited Mesquite Valley Growers for a job today and an employee named Lupe was down to earth and made me feel like I would want to work here. I was super impressed with the details of the store and the gift shop. They have so much to look at and the amount of variety with the plants, flowers**,** and cacti was impressive.”
“Hidden gems amongst the available plant selections. Staff was friendly, house plant portion was well put together to give display ideas. Definitely will be visiting and buying more often.”
“We had over 2,000 feet of carpet replaced in our home. The selection and prices were amazing! The installers, Paul and Luis did an incredible job. From carefully moving furniture and artwork to detailed installation and clean-up. We were very impressed! Would highly recommend Home Depot and Western States flooring!”
“This place is awesome I came there to rent a pressure washer and a kind guy with long blonde hair helped me out and when I came back to return it my trunk lid had broke and it was storming so hard and he helped me tie up my trunk in the rain by the end of it I was soaked but happy that it met a great individual ! Shout out to the rental department they are awesome and the guy that helped me in the pouring rain deserves a big thank you !”
“I always went there to buy my paints for murals. The brand I always used was Bear. Excellent quality and the paint department dudes were always super helpful and friendly. Thank you so much! Below are photos of some of the murals I was able to create with your high quality Bear brand paints and paint protective coat spray!”
“Nice selection and prices. Disappointed with the lack of knowledgeable employees in regards to finding products in the store. I have better success by using the Home Depot app.”
“Eddie outstanding customer service and attention to detail made the installation of the water heater great. Eddie you went the extra mile and for that I’m so grateful.”
“Bryon in tool merchandising is a bad ass to say the least. Helped me find an impact that is highly sought after and also informed me of the deals that brand would be doing the day after if I could wait a day. Got a free batterie with purchase the next day due to the promotion. Thank you for helping me out!”
“Rental Department Associate - Nick was so helpful to me in renting equipment. I needed to get a hugh project off my list before the hot season was upon us. Nick, made sure I had all needed. Nick is very professional, quick, knowledgeable and friendly, even at 5am in the morning! A Big Thank-you!”
“We moved to Green Valley a couple years ago and had our blinds put in by Home Depot. We absolutely love them but we have high windows (these blinds open from the bottom or the top) and we could not open from the top down without a long pole and we had to do this in each room. This was not very convenient to have to go room to room to do this. My husband stopped at Home depot and talked to Olga who was unbelievably helpful!! She not only found a way to get our blinds replaced with the pull cords, she kept in touch with both my husband and I throughout the whole process (including letting us know there was a sale going on that would help and she didn't want us to miss that) Olga was amazing and hopefully is a very treasured employee of the Home Depot team!! I cannot say enough about her magnificent customer service!!!”

“My wife and I lost track of time walking around, looking at all they had to offer. Cactus, trees, bushes, succulents, pots, decorations, etc. Whatever you need for your yard, they have it here. They were very helpful pointing us in the right direction, to find something specific on their huge property. If you need anything to spruce up your desert landscaping, you'll find it here.”
