“I have been a little reluctant to post a review on this hidden treasure because it seems like once people hear about a great place, it becomes too popular and overcrowded.
It's important to differentiate The Hiawasse Store from the Hiawasse Diner. They are completely different places, both in service and food.
Hiawasse Store has great homemade hamburgers and large servings of food. The employees are all friendly and my wife and I have never had a bad experience there. Our favorite server, I believe her name is Kayla, is super helpful and goes above and beyond.
This is a down to earth hamburger/gas station with live music on the patio on specific nights.
I highly recommend the Thursday meatloaf special and any burger with fried green tomatoes and onion thangs.

“While Maysville might be forgettable in the long run - In the short run the lunch I had there wont be.
We stopped here because Dad recommended me this place because he drives CDL. We step in, I'm looking around and we take our order. Had some difficulty understanding the cashier because of how much I was zoning out + how heavy the accent was, But I managed through it and got my Grilled Cheese with Tater Tots.
That was surprisingly a good sandwich, lemme tell you that! These gas stations always cook something so delicious where you least expect. I'm not gonna drive another 100 miles here just to specifically seek this sandwich again, but I can keep this place on standby when I stop by the Joplin Area.
I also hear that the locals were mad that the owner sold it off.”
“The gasstation is amazing up to Michelle the manager foods awesome very nice people but as a worker do not work here the owner pays minimum with the excuse you have health care (no one can afford) nor do you get holiday pay ? (to be clear the job itself is awesome from the coworkers and awesome manager its the owner that ruins the job)”

“I do not normally write comments but. Amber and Lee are fantastic people. I work 3rd shift and stop by the store every night, 365 days a year. I make a point to stop at the Station because of Lee and Amber. I could save a few dimes by stopping in Bentonville but love the conversation and atmosphere. Lee is one of the hardest worker I have seen, (on his knees scrubbing floors, including moving racks, etc).”
“Great place to get cheaper gas or diesel with all their competitors selling there gas/diesel much higher then this store in Highfill Arkansas , so if you live near here by all means stop and save some money.”

“Gas prices are good here and never had any issues. Only call out is pump 2 doesn’t take credit card by wireless but you can insert it. So not the end of the world.
I have gotten pizza from here and it was very good.”
