“I want to give a shout out to the two women working closing on Sat. nite June 6th during the tornado warning. They were very protective of the customers and were willing to stay as long as needed for the all clear. One ran out with me in the downpour to help put my groceries in my SUV so I could make it home before the storms hit my town 30 miles away! I got unloaded at home and the tornado sirens started blaring!”
“The produce is always very nice looking. The deli smells great and looks better. The pharmacy is the best. More variety on the 5 for 25 would be amazing. There never seems to be any hamburger meat.”
“Not quite like Publix in Florida but close. I just wish they had a bigger selection of boar's head lunch meats at our location. Very cute and well kept store. Clean and good produce selection.”
“The man Pharmacist here is hands down amazing, very knowledgeable, helpful , and will go out of his way to make sure you have everything you need, covered and get it fixed and taken care of . Super sweet .”

“Absolutely great people!! Fun to interact with! The store is crazy fun!!! Antiques. House wares.desiner clothes Tools chain saws. Best price you find on motor oil. Hydraulic fluid.. truly something for everyone !I have never left there with out a smile on my face.”
“This is one of my favorite stores to go to. The employees are always very nice and polite and the atmosphere there is very calm and enjoyable, especially for people with social anxiety like myself.”
“This location was very clean, lots of fall decor and trendy home decor. I was able to find what I needed very quickly even though this was my first time at this location. The cashier was very helpful to shoppers and was able to not only check out everyone quickly and efficiently, but also assist anyone needing help finding what they were looking for.”
“Friendly staff had all the groceries I was shopping for there was a line in self checkout so be prepared for a possible wait on checking out but really depends on time of doing your shopping”
“I like the dollar general. Good prices , cute stuff sometimes . Just wish the employees were treated better. So much stuff blocking the aisles. I know it's not their fault.”
“What's there to say? You go in for 2 things and leave with a ton of stuff you didn't need. I wish they would go back to 24 hours so I could shop when the place is empty.”
“Very comfortable environment and enjoyable employees. I've been going almost every day for 2 years and have always been treated well by staff and its always well put together:)”

“Michelle is great! She is always so friendly when I go in. Today I dropped my wallet in the parking lot and didn’t realize it was gone until I got to work. I called to see if anyone had turned one in, which they hadn’t, but she actually walked out into the rain and found it in the parking lot for me. Also had it dried off when I came to pick it up. I appreciate her so much!”
“I am at this store all time. I had a lot of kittens and cats at one time and they always had what I needed. The employees are so sweet. They make you feel like your a friend. I have been to a few locations and this is one of the best locations. It's clean. Doesn't smell. There isles are not taken over by stocking carts. Great job ladies and gents. Thank you always.”

“If you live in Greenwood and it's past 10:45 or an hour or two earlier depending what day the week, this is your best shot gas or cigarettes during the hours the old wealthy people close down their businesses and send the teenagers home LOL nice place they don't take digital Marlboro coupons though but I'm so relieved I don't have to go all the way to fort Smith that they're getting five stars anyway ;) ?”
“There's always room for improvement. I've seen the horrible 1 rating stars from 2-5 years ago. People may have been different back then, but the associated today (July of 2025) help you save every bit of your dollar that they can. Unfortunately the Dollar General looks like about 90% of the other Dollar General stores that I have been in (Mostly in Fort Smith), cluttered. As an old associate that use to work at a DG over 30 years ago, I can attest, this is not the fault of the associates. I'm still surprised that the company still relies on only 2-3 people to actually run their store. And continues to jam pack stores of merchandise that doesn't sell and keeps the shelves empty of the items that do.”
