“Holliday ISLAND dollar general is by farthest the cleanest most organized and peaceful shopping experience I've ever had was dollar general. The managers, employees, are the most helpful and friendly. Always greeting customers w a smile letting us know we are Welcome and that our business is greatly APPRECIATED. THANKS”
“So lucky to have found this gem has everything we need, lots of gluten free and dairy free options. I also like how you can purchase hot coffee and tea.Staff is always nice.Great prices as well.Thank you all so much”
“I've been coming here for 7 years, but only once a year for our annual trip to Table Rock. I am fortunate to be invited by my daughters husbands family. Good meats, fair beer prices. The staff is always nice and helpful. We go there every 2-3 days during our trip.”
“I got a four pack mixed variety pistachios some of the best nuts that I’ve ever had in my life. These nuts come in fresh from California and are definitely the best in Eureka Springs and probably some of the best you can get in Arkansas.”
“Bill is so lovely. We bought a bunch at the store but he spoiled us for conversation and goodies, too. I hope he’s around for our next roadtrip! The store is stocked full of fun goodies and delicious treats. Well worth a stop!”
“It's like an old time general store. Like just basic needs and a little bit of non perishables. And a few drinks and some OTC meds. Over would totally recommend it to others even if the prices aren't super discounted or anything the convenience of not having to go to far is nice”
“Harts really saved my bacon when I was caught without a store open late to get toiletries while on a trip to Eureka. I loved their selections and I loved how helpful their staff was.
It’s rare to find a truly family owned and run store in today’s market and reminded me of my small town grocery store in my hometown. I definitely will be back in future trips to eureka.”
“This is an old style country store. They have things you may need on a trip to the lake house. It reminded me of the country stores I saw in rural Mississippi when I was growing up in the 1960s. Mz Margaret is a pleasant person who you will meet if you visit this store.”
“Very helpful staff when I needed a package sent via courier. This store has plenty of stuff to choose from. We really could use a walking path to this store to make it really convenient and fun to ride bicycle or walk to from our homes. Safe!!!!!!”
“There has been a dramatic change in the Berryville Walmart over the last year or so, the staff and employees have become much more helpful, and nicer. I have problems seeing, and before, when asking employees for help, most were extremely rude, now, I've been told twice, they'd be glad to help me shop anytime I need help in finding products. You have no idea how much this means to someone who has trouble seeing. Thank you Walmart Employees”
“Stopped in from out of town employees very friendly even the customers were friendly and helpful since it was our first time in Eureka Springs, We had lots of questions Awesome people.”
“It's the only place for miles that has more selection than a gas station. It probably saves lives because people aren't having to drive all the way back to town for basic necessities. The convenience of it's location shouldn't go unnoticed.”
“Gotta look to find different things...an those days you just need to get out for a bit and don't have much or don't want to spend much try these stores...easy way to get steps in with ad weather”
“The grocery store had a great selection of items and was very well stocked. One of the first things we noticed was the bakery and deli, which both looked excellent. We ended up getting some fresh deli meats, and everything looked very fresh and high quality. The fruit and produce section also stood out because the items looked fresh, colorful, and well maintained.
Another thing that impressed us was the wine selection. There were a lot of choices, making it easy to find something for just about any taste or occasion. It’s clear they put effort into offering a wide variety rather than just the basics.
What really makes this store unique is that it’s more than just a grocery store. You can also purchase your fishing license for the state of Arkansas right inside the store, which is very convenient for locals and visitors alike. They even have a pro shop section for fishing gear. From small boat anchors to large fishing lures and other fishing essentials, they had just about everything someone might need for a day on the water.
Along with all of that, they still carry all the normal grocery items you would expect, making it a great one-stop shop. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely deserves a five out of five rating.”
