“Kevin is awesome ! I went here today to make a key for my new place, a lady in the painting department let me know the man in self check out would help me and call an assistance for me. I waited there well over 5 minutes and the man at self checkout was just starring at me. Then a Caucasian business man approached the key machine and immediately the man at self checkout asked him if he needed assistance and he’ll call an associate for him. I knew the man didn’t call one because i was there and still waiting . Eventually the nice businessman left. I was there left standing with no assistance for maybe 7 minutes all while he was watching me with his arms crossed. I then walked up to two nice associates (I’ll be able to describe them but don’t have a name ) and they let me know he had did a previous customer like that. They called the manager about 3 total times and eventually he came. Like i said Kevin is great, even shook his hand. On the other hand RICHARD is a prejudice man. He watched me the whole time Kevin was helping me , and i asked him how was he doing he ignored me . I then saw a black and Caucasian male customer standing in self check out, and he tried letting the Caucasian man go first, but the man let the black male go first and the man immediately got visually upset. I will pray for Richard . It’s 2023, I wish people would act like it. Richard , i will pray for you. With that attitude though, you won’t be there long. Do better! Thanks to Kevin and the 2 associates in the checkout on the left for making my day a little better.”
“Some of the best service I've had at Home Depot and strangely was right before close. Had just moved in to my house and the power hadn't been turned on so last minute went to Home Depot. Guy named LJ jumped in and took me to what I needed and was explained the options. Super proactive and helpful. The guy running the self-checkout was really friendly as well. I don't expected a ton at close from a place because there's a lot to do, but that was great even for just a normal time. Appreciate y'all!”
