“I am a fan of red wing boots and on a return trip home from a road job in North Dakota, I stopped by to check out Walters store and get his opinion on some red wing boots I had purchased up north. He was very helpful and a super nice guy. He took time to measure my feet, check out my boots and was very knowledgeable about everything boot related and gave me great advise. I had also read reviews on his magic wool socks and decided I would try a pair. I didn’t think much of it, because I have many other wool socks, but the socks I bought from Mr. Walter were different. They were super comfortable, (cozy as my wife says) they kept my feet from feeling sweaty all day working in the hot Louisiana sun, and felt dry at the end of the day. They cushioned my feet like no other sock I have ever worn. When I take my boots off now, i leave my socks on because they feel so nice, even after being stuffed into my 877’s all day. I now feel like every other wool sock I ever put on was a Chinese made counterfeit piggybacking off the name of the socks he sells. They instantly became my favorite pair of socks and I had my wife wash them over and over for the last couple of weeks so I could keep wearing them. Anyway, I couldn’t keep that up so I called and asked for 5 more pairs and Mr Walter took my payment over the phone and three days later I got my socks in the mail! It’s not that far from Arkansas to Louisiana, but he obviously shipped them right away and I couldn’t be happier with my socks or Mr Walter’s service. Thank you Mr Walter for all your help. Having comfortable feet at the end of a 12 hour shift for such an awesome price truly means a lot to this old pipefitter. I look forward to my next trip up the country and will make sure to stop by for some more socks and maybe even another pair of boots!!!”

“I went into the store for a pair of walking shoes without an appointment, not knowing I should have one. I ended up getting measured for a pair of orthotics and a great pair of shoes. I have back trouble and am hoping these orthotics will help with that. Both Mike and Rosie were helpful and friendly and very professional. The employees are always pleasant and helpful too. Pro tip for people that life in central AR and want to buy online from Eddie Bauer. The store in LR can't stock absolutely everything, but they can place your online order for you. There's no shipping cost when done this way and it helps keep the brick and mortar store in business. Returns can also be done at the store so no hassle of having to do return shipping.”

“On the outside, it seems too small to have anything you might need. On the inside, it’s like the TARDIS of hiking and camping supplies - way bigger than you expected, and filled to the rafters with everything outdoors. The staff it helpful and friendly, and you can buy the things you see today and drive away with it rather than wait for [evil internet source] to ship 2-3 days. Prices are good. Location is easy to find. You might get challenged by parking on Kavanaugh, but this is worth the trip.”

He is the friendliest, most helpful young man!Went shopping for school clothes with my son last week and he helped us. He was wonderful that day!Today, took my daughter school clothes shopping and the minute we walked in the store, he greeted us with a smile and "how can I help you today?" Before I could even answer, he said "you don't remember me, do you?"
