True Blue Aquatics

Last week I was in to purchase some items to save my betta fish as he was looking pretty limp. I honestly didn’t think it was possible. My daughter googled some items that would help. The owner helped us get an indian leaf and the stability drops and some blood worms. IT WORKED. My fish is good as new, he’s back to normal swimming away. I’m still blown away, I’m not sure if all 3 worked or just one item in particular but I’m still amazed. The owner takes such good care of all the fish in that store, giving them all the right amount of space to swim around in. I love seeing betta fish mixed in with other fish. I just wanted to thank the owner for saving my betta fish.

My family is from Port Alberni and yesterday we had to say goodbye to our senior Labrador, Mala (14 years, 9 months). She had been slowly declining with age, and in the end her body simply let go. Two years ago, we were told she was palliative and too old for surgery - until we came to this clinic. Dr. Vasile and the team removed a benign growth in her mouth, and because of their care and compassion, we were blessed with two extra years with our sweet girl. For that, we are forever grateful. My dad, George, has the utmost respect for Dr. Vasile, and our family cannot thank this clinic enough for giving us that precious time.

Harbour Grill

With the atmosphere being cozy with a touch of elegance our Horbour grill experience was delightful. Starting with a warm blueberry tea (alcohol) was a great addition to the great veiws of discovery Harbour in the fall. My entrè of horseradish crusted rack of lamb (rare), accompanied by flavorful steamed vegetables, baked tomato and breaded mashed potatoes was outstanding. I highly suggest the Harbour grill for a very satisfying meal experience.
