“I had to get a rapid strep test, and this pharmacy was listed as a place to go. I don't live in the community and normally use a different pharmacy closer to home. The half hour or so I spent in here, I saw regular customers coming in and out, and the staff seemed to know them by name, knew the goings on in their life, and I haven't seen customer service like this in ages. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and caring. We as a family have switched over to them and will continue to use them as needed. 10/10 recommended. Felt like an old school Mom and Pop shop, I miss that feeling!”

“Aaronson’s pharmacy has been my personal pharmacy for approximately 3 years.
I am incredibly pleased by their compassion, knowledge, and efficiency. Recently, I had a very small ailment that was assessed by a pharmacist and received a prescription in hand all within ten minutes.
For further context, I am a home care RN and I work and communicate with community pharmacies throughout Victoria nearly daily as part of my work, so I feel I have some phenomenological experience in writing a five star review.

“I accidentally found what I can confirm is the best pharmacy and I’m so grateful. I moved to the island in July and initially went to shoppers and it was one disaster after another. Yesterday however, when I needed an xray and had prescriptions to fill, I found St. Anthony’s. They were fast and did a full demo with my inhaler for whatever RSV or bronchitis thing I have. I also didn’t realize the $1.50 I paid for every prescription previously filled at shoppers was because shoppers has higher fees (they should be lower if it’s indicative of their awful service but alas). So my benefits covered it all at St. Anthony’s, it took maybe 20 minutes, everyone was friendly and thorough and it’s even closer to me than shoppers although I would certainly go the distance for this place. I only wish they showed up on google so more people knew about them although selfishly I’m happy they had the right amount of scripts to get mine done so quickly.”

“My 2 year old grandson recently came down with pink eye. I called numerous pharmacies but was unable to find over the counter polysporin drops in stock or receive any help or advice. I then called Mint on Latoria half an hour before they closed and was advised to bring the child to the pharmacy where the pharmacist very kindly prescribed a soothing antibiotic ointment. Amazing service by the staff and pharmacist. We greatly appreciated the immediate help for the little guy! Thank you so much!”

“I switched from Shoppers and is the grass ever greener with Thrifties! They are knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, efficient, quick and caring; everything Shoppers greatly lacked. The hours may be more constrained however as much as I don’t want them to get more popular, this small pharmacy is more productive than one ten times it's size. People make a business and Grace and everyone else there are truly good human beings. It's something rare in this overtaxed and stressed Healthcare system to turn out gems such as these.”

“The store is always clean and brightly lit. Easily accessible for those with disabilities. Staff are always friendly at the counter - cosmetics, cash... They're all really nice. Decent selection. You can use cash service or self serve checkouts. I would recommend just based on ease of use and friendly staff.”

“Good, caring team. I've had a great experience with all the staff and really appreciate the time and effort the pharmacists have given. Every time I go, I end up seeing some really entitled customers and they always give them grace, even when they shouldn't. It's usually an old man talking down to the women, but when that male pharmacist steps in suddenly manners are on the table! Please remember to treat your local pharmacists, techs and assistants with grace and kindness. And I also shouldn't have to say this, but the racism needs to stop. I've heard some really disgusting things, too.”
