“I had to take a min to give a good review. I recently took a trip to Kentucky and let me tell you, the people are so kind and relaxed.. not what I expected. I came back to the reminder of how impatient and rushed people are in BC. I have been putting my wallet away and had people reach over me to start to deal with the cashier " not here". I have been bummped by a cart and rushed in every store I go to... But the last time this young guy with long hair was so kind he talk to me like I am a human and I'm not a product to rush through. I dont know his name, but he must be new.. Thank you!! If others are in a rush that is on them for not planning better... we should be able to say hi, how are you and take our time because for most people this can be their only interaction with others. The human interaction was so much better out there.. they talk to you, and you chat with them as they bag your stuff... you know their name and most times they know you.... they even remembered me and said hi.... Thank you, Homesense, for getting way better in customer care!!!! It's better for the employees and customers.”

“This review is for Heather at Rodd and Gun. My partner and I went in there a couple times to look at coats. She recommended this beautiful jacket and it looked fantastic on him but was a bit out of our price range. Went again today and she was there and REMEMBERED US and informed me they have a 30% off for one day every year and it’s coming up but we’ll be away in Vancouver. She made it work for us so we could get the deal and take the coat home today. I haven’t had a guest experience like this… probably ever. I can’t recommend her enough. “The new store in Kelowna is absolutely huge and as clean as an operating room. Somewhat sterile.
Trying to find items is difficult for us seniors on account of the monstrous size of the outfit and our limited abilities. I was lost going through the 100 or so isles. I looked up my product on line and got even more confused.
Then along came Evan, a very polite and helpful young man, who patiently continued the search with me, until we found my desired merchandise ON SALE.
My point is, that no matter how much technology we introduce in our shopping adventures, in the end it's the human to human interaction that makes all the difference. I enjoyed my shopping experience at Canadian Tire on account of that young man, and he deserves full credit for that.
