“Visting kelowna vs. the edmonton winners, the difference is substantial, and the product selection has lots of variations for products. It's amazing! The staff is so kind and patient. Very welcoming environment.”
“Danny in the outdoor section was a super nice guy and very helpful and prompt with finding my items aswell as informing me on new things coming to the store ?”
“it’s a Walmart, and a perfectly decent one at that.
I only visited twice, both around 10 p.m. during my stay nearby, but it was cleaner and tidier than many Walmart locations I’ve been to. Shelves were well stocked, and the store felt well looked after.
Some of the harsher reviews seem to expect Harrods service from a shop where you can buy tyres, breakfast cereal, and a fishing rod in the same visit. That may be setting the bar a little high.
The one criticism I do share is that the self-checkouts are closed in the evening. If you’re popping in for two or three items, having to queue behind a full trolley can be rather frustrating. It feels like an unnecessary inconvenience at quieter hours.
Otherwise, it’s exactly what a Walmart should be: clean, practical, and good value. No more, no less.”
“I really appreciate how many knowledgeable helpers that are readily available for my questions. Moreover, if someone does not know how to help they very politely walk me over to someone who does. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service here.”
