“Great shop with solid collection. Unlike MEC which can be overwhelming, they have just the right stuff for proper adventures. Mike helped me pick out a sturdy rain jacket for my big mountain trips. Support local!!”

“What a store! They have the most comprehensive hockey selection I’ve ever seen and the service was perfection and I don’t use that term lately. Linden was an absolute superstar took his time helped us find the right equipment didn’t point us to the most expensive stuff and just genuinely did a good thing good job even opened the door for us as we went out five stars.”
“Cool place and it’s big. The staff are super friendly and helpful. This is a store for all ages ps you may need a credit card cuz you can fill up a cart really quick lol.”
“After getting newly prescribed orthotics I travelled from Comox to find a suitable running shoe at this store. Florie spent considerable time in an attempt to accommodate my wide foot. I bought a pair that seemed to work. After a week of inside and outside wear, my feet were in pain. I returned to Florie. She brought out many, many possible shoes. In the end Florie ordered a pair on line. A week later I returned to try on the new shoe. It was wider but did not work with my new orthotic. Florie refunded the cost of the runner. I think this company was more than fair and made an honest effort to meet my needs. Personnel were skilled at fitting and creating options. I hope to return and find a suitable shoe, after another visit to my podiatrist.”
“So, we went in for a nice shop and we got ourselves into a “saucy” situation. Without details, I asked for the manager and was graced with Emilie! She was extremely helpful about the unusual situation and fully accommodated us! We will shop at this store every time we visit Nanaimo!! Thanks Emilie, fully appreciate you dear!”

“Always exceptional service and selection. Staff is amazing and will help you select the best shoes for your feet and goals. It’s also great the amount that Frontrunners puts back into the community.”
