1780 Mills Rd, North SaanichWe were looking for something farm fresh that wasn’t too far from Sidney, and we’re so grateful we found The Fickle Fig Farm.
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The fridge displays were filled with fresh treats, and everything looked so inviting. We ordered a latte to share along with a cinnamon bun and a pecan square, and both were absolutely delicious.
We chose to sit outside and enjoyed our coffee and desserts surrounded by beautiful scenery. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with trees nearby and birds singing in the background. One little bird became the highlight of our visit. It hopped right up to our feet before confidently jumping onto our table as if it wanted to join us for coffee. It made us smile and added an unexpected touch of joy to an already beautiful morning.
We laughed, shared conversation, and spent a beautiful moment together in gratitude with God. It became so much more than a stop for coffee. It became a memory we’ll always cherish.
The friendly employees made the experience even better with their genuine kindness and welcoming smiles. Sometimes it’s the people who turn a simple visit into something special, and that was certainly the case here.
Before leaving, we couldn’t resist taking home a dozen of fresh free range eggs. It felt like the perfect way to bring a little piece of the farm experience with us.
We left feeling happy, grateful, and completely satisfied. We highly recommend The Fickle Fig Farm. The people, the food, the coffee, the atmosphere, the fresh local products, and even the curious little bird all deserve a big high five! 🙌

Stonehouse Pub
2215 Canoe Cove Rd, North SaanichFantastic little pub in a serene and peaceful setting. We just popped in for a couple of pints, parking was easy, the staff were very friendly, and the beers came out cold and quick! Will definitely be back for some lunch next time.
