The staff is lovely to work with, and clearly knows their stuff. I really like the low key approach and appreciate the low-zero wait times for appointments and when we go in. I am very glad we have this trustworthy option on SJI.

Surprised there weren't more raw local oysters to choose from but the ones I had were just fine. Passed on the Ollys as they were teeny, more expensive, and the flavor profile didn't sound appealing. The mezza plate rounded things out and was the only reason we left satiated. Highly recommend for a nice meal on the waterfront and strongly suggest reservations.

3136 Roche Harbor Road, Friday HarborBeautiful place to enjoy wine on a warm fall day. Check their website for their opening hours as Google Maps may be wrong. Went there in early October and they were technically closed but bumped into Bruce who was very accommodating and reopened the tasting room to pour us a glass. Great wine and very welcoming. Next time we’re on the island we’ll be back!

Everything was fresh and flavorful. My only regret is we didn’t have another day for another sandwich. And this is a perfect place to get a sandwich and go watch whales.

410 A Street, Friday HarborWe stopped by San Juan Island Brewing Co. during our visit and ordered a burger, pizza, and beer. It was an enjoyable place to sit down for a casual meal after spending time around the island. Having both burgers and pizza on the menu made it easy to find something we each wanted, and a beer felt like the right way to round out the visit. The experience was good overall, and I’d gladly stop in again if we return to San Juan Island. It’s a solid choice when you want a relaxed meal and a drink without making a big event out of dinner. Four stars from us!

We drank very little since it was so hot, but what we did drink was a little watery. Disappointing. But what wasn’t disappointing was the breakfast wraps. These are huge and stuffed with flavor. We easily could have just shared one and still left full.

Servers were uniquely kind and did everything possible to make the experience fun for our kids and relaxing for us. The food was great. Great place to go if you're looking for a "nicer" meal but somewhere you won't feel out of place with kids. They do have a kids "menu" they tell you out loud. Two servers who said they were from Croatia and Romania were exceptional !

50 Duck Soup Ln, Friday HarborCute and quaint rustic ambiance with friendly staff. The menu isn’t very big but there is a little something for everyone. We had the scallops, king salmon, and pork loin. Ended the meal with creme brûlée and key lime pie. Would definitely come back again.
