Pet Stores & Supplies
Patricia's Pet Shop
501 S Lincoln St, Port AngelesBe sure to ask when arriving for what you're looking for, it may not be immediately visible (like frozen raw pet food), but it most likely is available. I was in town visiting for a week, and needed some additional pet food. Once I arrived they asked me what I needed, and came around the counter to show me where everything I needed was located. The raw/frozen food was kept in the back, and they were happy to go get what I needed. Quality, small business - recommend!

Petsense by Tractor Supply
2719 E Hwy 101, Port AngelesI brought my badly matted labradoodle into to Aly and Akasha. They worked miracles. They gently got her from tangles to pristine while retaining the length of her fur. If I lived nearer to them, I’d be thrilled to have them as my regular groomers. Thank you!

Kit N Kapoodle
3232, 221 S Peabody St C, Port AngelesDog has kennel cough so couldn't make a grooming appointment. I knew though that she needed her nails trimmed and anal glands expressed. Kit-N-Koopoodle not only fit me into a last minute schedule but performed the two tasks outside to prevent potential infection of anyone else. Fast, competent and a good price. Can't thank you enough for the wonderful service and treatment of our little gal!

Pet Care
Angeles Clinic For Animals
160 S Del Guzzi Dr, Port AngelesOur initial visit with our new rescue dog Bubba was great. The people at the front desk were pleased to see us and were helpful with getting us checked in and out. Dr. Wagner was thorough in her examination and gave us pointers on how to feed our pup. We signed up for the Paw Plan in order to provide the best long term care of our dog.

Best Friends Pet Care
1004 W 16th St, Port AngelesI'm scared to think what would of happened to our roughly 9 week old puppy, had Dr. Pat and the staff at Best Friends Pet Care not worked their magic to get him healthy. They went above and beyond when it came to treating him. I would and will absolutely recommend them to those in need of veterinary care for their pets.

Angeles Brewing Supplies & Taproom
116 N Lincoln St, Port AngelesWhat a great place, that has had skiing videos on the main screen each time I have gone in! They have a nice selection of beers and I like the pricing levels that enable you have a short pour of something you want to try but dont want a full glass. They have brewing supplies, which is handy to have a beer and pick up some supplies. Great ambiance and easy and comfortable place to enjoy and hang with friends and talk.

Granny's Cafe
235471 US-101, Port AngelesFood arrived extremely LATE but was DELICIOUS. They had a crispy avocado slices topping for burgers which was unique and tasty. We waited for over 30 minutes and only after enquiring about the order, they started preparing it (which took another 20 minutes). We understand that this might be because of the tourist season but we should've at least been informed about the delay.

The Corner Caboose
242751 US-101, Port AngelesI ordered the Caboose Burger and tater cheese bombs online. The food was ready to go when I got there, and it was piping hot in the best way possible. The burger patty was the same size as the bun, that's hard to come by these days. The burger toppings were fresh and the sauce was great. I was disappointed by the tater cheese bombs, there were only 5 of them, and while they were crunchy on the outside, the inside had the consistency and appearance of scrambled eggs. For $7.59 I was extremely disappointed in those. The staff was friendly, and it was easy to find. For the price the burger was fair.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Today I spilt my other coffee, Needed something to make me happy so I was driving by and thought I would try again. Girls instantly greeted me with a smile, service was fast, I then drove around to pay and the atmosphere outside was perfect, the sound of a water features, signs greenery and CLEAN!! I got to the window to pay and I told the gal, I feel more relaxed just driving through your drive thru.. Definitely will be back, as a business owner myself. I was highly impressed.. to the business owner and their staff.

Gateway Tavern
120 N Lincoln St, Port AngelesGateway should be your first night's stop if you find yourself in Port Angeles. With all the joys of the corner of the US, with nice patrons who would love your patience to play darts and/or pool. Popcorn for snackys, and a surprisingly good food menu from the the head chef, Michael Wave. You may feel like bars need to be over the top, but Gateway Tavern does a great job of reminding Port Angeles, if it's worked since 1936, keep it working.Christina is an outstandingly nice lady. In fact all the bartenders are great with their own charm, charisma, and regulars that come in to see them nightly! Thanks for all the great night Gateway! To many more!

Northwest Fudge and Confections
108 W 1st St, Port AngelesI walked in with my sister who is obsessed with fudge. Bob overheard me saying I wasn’t really a fudge person (though I LOVE chocolate) and he told me I probably hadn’t had good fudge, and talked to me a bit about the store. He was really friendly and I could tell he was passionate about his work. Totally talked me into buying a piece and HOLY SMOKES am I glad I did. It was absolutely smooth creamy and delicious. Super rich flavor. Guess I’m a fudge person!! Thank you, Bob! It was a pleasure meeting you. ☺️

Corner Restaurant
2365 E Hwy 101, Port AngelesBest Mexican food on the Peninsula. Knew it would be good when I walked in and saw actual Mexicans eating here, and not just a bunch of fat white people. Reminds me of the corner taco stands in California, and is very affordable as well. Will definitely be eating here again.

Rebel Heart Coffee
108 South Race Street, 525 E 8th St, Port AngelesWhen we travel, it is imperative to scope the local coffee shops and we discovered Rebel Heart almost directly behind our Air BNB. We then discovered this location was relatively new and did not show on Google Maps so I got the pleasure of adding it to the system. First time I’ve done that. It’s been a few months since we were there so now I’m writing the review I should have done previously. The shop is a converted house on a somewhat busy street so finding it is easy. Parking is a snap and there is lot of seating outside. No seating inside when we were there. Has that changed? The coffee and pastries were excellent and the food is good. The people working here are very friendly and I somehow felt like a local. If I lived in Port Angeles, I’d come here every day.Michael DelehantyCompass Real Estate

Hook & Line Pub
201 E Front St, Port AngelesHands down the best clam chowder I have ever had in my life. Most clam chowders are either very watery with minuscule hints of clam. Or they’re a custard like consistency with potatoes so big they’re practically home fries.Hook & Line nails that perfect in between consistency with enough potatoes to give it texture and a hearty helping of clams. The chowder is perfectly seasoned, with a perfect texture and should be sold by the ton. Also, the tartar sauce is unique and perfect. It has dill which I didn’t expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. It was so good we kept asking for more to dip our fish n chips in. We couldn’t get enough!

Barhop Brewing and Artisan Pizza
124 W Railroad Ave, Port AngelesStopped in here for lunch with my wife and had a great experience. We tried a 4 beer flight, the Bruschetta (delicious, bread appeared homemade) and the meat lovers pizza. Service was excellent, food was delicious and the atmosphere is authentic, not fancy, so if you need that go somewhere else but the place felt "real" if that makes sense. I hate the typical fake "crafted" hipster environments I come across in too many of these breweries in the west. Worth a visit!
