“I've been driving past this place for quite some time thinking it was only a corner convenience store. Until a friend told me about the small donair counter inside the store. I've have three or four donair places around Vancouver that I would frequent over the years but this one has become my favourite. The staff are fast and polite. All the ingredients are very fresh and flavourful. Generous portions and still a very competitive price. And yes, if you order double of any of the ingredients, the wrap will tend to fall apart because it contains more than it can handle. It's a given and part of the experience. Highly recommended.”

“Came here at 10:45pm needing only shopping bag in the worst way - pockets ripping from too much schtuff jammed in (b-but...I had done it over9000 times before and it was fine!) Silly part's over, now the serious part of this 100% true story/legit review: the gentleman at the counter just handed me a bag like it was friggin' 1996 - and I didn't have to beg or even explain my plight in the slightest! Trivial situation perhaps, but small, kind, and faith-restoring acts of humanity like this are never insignificant.”

“They sell Ronson flints. Been looking for them all over the city. Google led me to Warriors and Wonders at city square but they were sold out. I walked across to Hye Park Express, and to my surprise they had them for only $1.99. That’s cheaper than amazon! Very happy with the customer service at this place too.”
“I went in for my passport photos today. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The only clerk behind the counter was very friendly and efficiently. She confirmed with me which passport for which I needed the photos (so they probably also do photos for non-Canadian passports). I sat down in front of the white screen. She reminded me to take off my glasses and not to smile (stupid Canadian passport rule) and snapped my photos. Less than 10 minutes, I walked out with a great passport photos I don’t mind looking at.”
