“I'm absolutely happy with my coach Andy , at Dynasty.

He has a remarkable ability to break down complex techniques into manageable steps. He has this ability to tailor the training program to my specific needs and goals. I've seen significant progress every day

Five stars isn't enough – I'd give him ten stars if I could!”

“I’ve had an amazing experience at
F45 Oak & Broadway! A huge thank you to Roshan, the trainer, who went above and beyond to adapt the workouts to accommodate my back injury. Even though it’s not a personal training gym, she customized the movements and weights to ensure I could train safely and effectively.
A big shoutout also to Connor, the manager, who made the registration process smooth and handled all my payment and cancellation queries with utmost professionalism. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive and flexible fitness environment!”

“My husband and I have been training at this gym for personal training, and we can’t say enough good things about our experience. I’ve known Phil Wittmer, the owner for over 10 years—his commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism has always stood out, and it’s reflected in every aspect of this gym.

Our personal trainers, Tom (mine) and Quinton (my husband’s), are incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, and professional. They take the time to tailor each workout to our individual needs and goals, all while ensuring we feel safe, supported, and challenged in the right way.

The atmosphere is welcoming and motivating, and we always leave feeling stronger and more energized. If you’re looking for a gym with experienced trainers who truly care about your progress and well-being, this is the place.

Highly recommended!”

“I've been working out at Rep1 Fitness for 18 months. My objective is to build all-round strength and bone density. I have made measurable improvements on both. I used to hate the gym. But the trainers at Rep1 have helped me enjoy the process. I've learned a lot and now feel quite comfortable in the gym. The atmosphere at Rep1 is very friendly. Like a family in the nicest way. I highly recommend Rep1 Fitness.”

“Sara is amazing! She’s by far the best Pilates instructor I’ve ever had. Her classes at Sweat Co Workout Studios Ltd are small (4-5 ppl), so she can give everyone personal attention. She’s super attentive, always making sure you’re doing the movements correctly, and will gently correct your form to help you get the most out of the session. I’ve learned so much from her already and can’t wait to keep taking her classes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Pilates experience!”

“Wanted to restart gym after covid, but the community gym was still down for renovations, so I signed up for this location. I like the flexibility of 24x7 availability, and prefer later times anyways, no need to rush or watch the clock. Haven't gone back to the community centre, even though it's vastly cheaper.

The busy times here vary day to day greatly. Some days 7pm is empty, others it's the busy time. After 10-10:30pm nearly always fine. When it's busy there is a wait for some stations, so you may need to change up your routine. For the size, there is a decent range of weight machines, but not anything too specialized. I think between the machines, freeweights, cable machines (several of those now) and racks and benches, you can improvise anything you need. There is a row of treadmills/stairs/etc, which are surprisingly lightly used (when I'm there), one rowing machine, a couple of stationary bikes, 2 spin bikes, 1 recumbent. 4 full racks, 1 smith rack, 1 curl station. No bench presses, so people will use benches at the rack to bench press, which is very frustrating as they can easily tie up 2-4 pieces of equipment for 1 hour+. People never stick to time limits, no matter how busy it is. There are 3 incline benches, but they're often used at the rack for bench press. So when it's very busy, it can get dicey, but I am always able to get my workout in without more than 10 minute delay.

Machines are generally in good repair, and get fixed quickly. Everything is clean, but the AC vents often drip and the bathrooms don't have fans(?) that I can hear, so that's weird. There are no changing rooms, just a row of 5 or 6 individual bathrooms, 2 with showers.

The crowd during off-times is pretty chill. No influencer types, and nobody's filming. I've been a couple of times during busy times, and it's definitely more hopping.

All in all, the 24x7 aspect is the selling point for me, but if finances get tight, it's probably the first thing to go.”

“I booked a private coaching session with Gabe to work on my squat. For years, I was discouraged at the gym because I couldn't make any progress with my squat, and as a last resort, I decide to seek some professional help to see if it could be fixed.During my two sessions Gabe had me working on warming up properly, and he had me perform exercises to fix my stability issues/imbalances among other things. At the end of my second session, Gabe had me squatting more than I ever had in my life. I'm now at a point where I look forward to my upcoming gym sessions so I can continue to squat more; something I used to dread in the past.I Highly recommend Loaded Athletics if you are serious about learning how to lift properly and efficiently. Working with the trainers here is an investment that is well worth it. You will not regret it!”

“Absolutely love this location, and the whole Tantra Fitness world. The app is super convenient and makes booking classes very easy. Memberships are month-to-month, with no predatory contract policies. You can cancel or pause plans at any time before the start of your next month.

The staff and teachers are great. I especially love Maria Marlowe for pole classes. She really knows what she’s talking about and will make sure that you are doing the moves properly so that you’re strengthening correctly and minimizing risk of injury.

There’s no pole sharing in the classes, which I’ve heard some other schools do in North America. It’s one student per pole so you have the full hour to practice. Any monthly pass also grants unlimited access to open studio practice hours, so you have lots of time to rehearse what you’ve learned in class.

There are so many different programs and classes to be taken. I‘ve barely scratched the surface of their offerings since I started in April, but I can’t wait to try everything. My friend lives their aerial/silks fitness classes.

If you’re curious, you can try their two week intro pass where you access a sampler of all Intro classes, but be warned, it’s super addictive! ?”

“I started coming to Westside a year ago with zero experience of Crossfit and needing lots of work on my body due to a sedentary lifestyle. Jenika guided me through a lifestyle transformation in the past year with her advice on training, nutrition, posture, therapy and more. Jenika is an empathetic coach who goes out of her way to help her clients lead a healthy life. Her group classes push you just enough while having fun. I can’t imagine life without Crossfit now, thank you Jenika!

PS: Seeing my transformation, my partner joined Westside as well and is a regular now.”

“Nice guy owns it named dan. He is supper cool. Melissa is one of tha front girls. She is so kind and always polite. Rest of the people are also pretty cool. Overal trained here for a year or so. Great vibes. The gym is not too big but it's very stylish and private. Also has swimming poool and connected to a restaurant. Overal was perfect for me since I was living so close by. Recommend checking it out for beginners and intermediate trainers. But not for super advanced types who like super fancy equipments.”

“Thank you to the staff at Equinox. Maren helped me sign up and was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful with all my questions. Safe environment to work on your health, and being someone who has struggled with my mental health- it’s a great spot to focus on wellbeing and meet likeminded people in a positive environment. The gym is spotless, the staff is welcoming, and the amenities and classes included with the membership make it a great place to work out. Highly recommend ?”

“I’ve been a YWCA member for over three years and visit at least three times a week. It’s genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of working downtown. The gym, pool, steam room, hot tub, and shower facilities are excellent, and the staff generally do a great job keeping the space clean and welcoming.

The only reason for a four-star rating is the ongoing maintenance issues in the men’s shower area. In all my time as a member, I’ve never seen every shower stall fully functional at the same time, whether it’s missing towel hooks, shower heads spraying sideways, or loose and wobbly on/off handles. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it is a long-standing concern.

Overall, I love the YWCA and will continue to be a member. I just hope to see a little more attention given to the shower maintenance in the men’s area.”

“Great gym. EJ and Erin have done a great job at keeping the best parts of cross fit and deleting the bad aspects. The result is a beginner friendly training environment that will provide modifications if you are coming off an injury and will give you plenty of opportunity to push beyond your limit if you are not.”

“Tried a jiu jitsu class here and had such a blast! Visiting a new gym can be intimidating but the environment here was soo helpful, friendly and completely ego free. Roy's teaching is clear, practical and super effective especially for smaller people learning how to handle and submit larger opponents. You can tell he’s incredibly passionate about what he does and makes safety a top priority. Super fun and empowering, I’m excited to come back!”

“Fantastic gym! I've been to many of the years, and this is one of my favs. Great equipment, spacious layout, and people are remarkably courteous. I've been going for a year and haven't witnessed a single confrontation or unfriendly behaviour. It does get quite packed 4-8pm, but that's expected.”

3.7 Good86 Reviews

“Has what you need, recommend if you live close by. Only complaint is the clientele often times don't wipe down the machines after use, kinda gross but can't blame the gym for that. Staff have been pleasant.”

“Great experience at Fit4Less Vancouver! The gym is clean, well-maintained, and has everything I need for a solid workout. I love that it’s open 24/7 – super convenient for my schedule. The membership is also really affordable, which makes it a great value. If you're looking for a simple, no-fuss gym in downtown Vancouver, I highly recommend it!”
