“We’ve been loyal customers of Korna for the past five years (and counting!) They’re well stocked with a good range of pet food, treats, dental and grooming products, toys, etc. They often bring in new toys so it’s always fun to check out what new stuff they’ve brought in. The staff there are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they have a great loyalty program. It’s a shame they’ve been a bit hidden by the construction on Broadway - I really hope they’re still getting good foot traffic! And for what it’s worth the store has good sound proofing. Even though the construction is right in front (through no fault of their own!) we don’t really hear much inside and my dog (who’s sometimes anxious and can get stressed from loud construction noise) hasn’t reacted to the sounds outside. Hands down one of our favourite local pet stores so definitely check them out if you’re in the area!”

“I bought some dog treats for my Morkie. I think he was allergic to one of the ingredients in the dental chews (activated charcoal) so I reached out to their customer service. They went above and beyond! I will most definitely be purchasing other treats from them with ingredients that I think he can eat with no issues. They were so quick to address the concern and resolve the issue.”
“We had a great experience! We took our Whoodle puppy in for grooming. She been to the groomers once before but this time needed a shave due to extensive matting of her fur. We weren't sure what to expect but were given the info and rationale beforehand and were very happy with the results! Yume took very good care of her and I would highly recommend Dashing Dawgs for your grooming needs.”

“While on a walk, on Feb 13, My dog decided to open the door to Bosley’s Pet Supply store on 41st Ave in Vancouver and walk in, taking me with her. I had not been to this location before, the staff, too bad forgot to ask for her name was incredibly sweet, kind and helpful. She took the time to acknowledge my girl , Shiloh, and find out what she likes. Not only she gave my picky girl a treat she liked but helped us pick more healthy snacks for her. Some Pet stores forget our pets are the reason we walk in to their stores but NOT THIS LOCATION. A big thank you to the beautiful kind young lady who showered my girl with love and affection.”

“Went to the 6th Ave location in Vancouver to try out there bath facilities for my dog. It was fantastic! They give you a nice sized bag of treats all the shampoo and conditioner you could need including hypoallergenic. The hairdryer was so amazing that I didn’t even need to brush my dog I have a cockapoo that usually requires brushing afterwards to get out any knots and mats, and this hairdryer was so powerful that it had taken care of everything. He looked like he just came from the groomers. At $15 per visit it’s pricey, but after five if you get one free, I will use them from time to time and highly recommend the same.”

“Lots of common and rare fish here kept in healthy and naturalistic setups. Some very nice Bettas.
Quite a few Bettas kept in community tanks with other fish.
The store is quite cluttered and very humid/poor airflow so be careful if you're coming in with small kids or big bags. I've come here 3-5x over the past 10 years, it's always been like this.
The owner never talks to me though and always just leaves me to browse and disappears. Prices very reasonable and some good discounts if you buy supplies with the animal.
This time I came to see leopard geckos and found it disappointing. 3 of them looking really sad housed in one tiny tank with no real enrichment. :(

“Bosley's is such a great place. My dog drags me here every chance she gets because the nicest people work there, and they give her a treat. I buy dog food here, and about 3 times a month I give her a bath at their self-service dog wash. $15 for the wash and you have tons of products to choose from. Shampoos of every flavor, conditioners, towels, blow dryer. It's worth $15 to me just to avoid cleaning up my bathroom when she shakes and gets water everywhere, not to mention the dog hair that remains in the tub when I bathe her at home. Just go to Bosley's. When the bath is finished you just walk away.”

“We’ve been bringing our anxious pups here for 5 years and we absolutely love the service and staff. We’re regulars here since we bring our dogs to have their nails trimmed. Maki is super gentle and empathetic with our dogs, especially our pup, Dobby. She doesn’t try to force it and anytime she ain’t able to get a decent trim in, she waives the fee. Genuinely appreciate the care and professionalism from not just Maki, but the whole team.
Fun fact: you know they’re dog people when they know you by your dog’s name only ?”
