“We absolutely loved visiting Bodega Pets! We came all the way from Toronto and knew we had to make a stop while we were in BC and it was 100% worth the visit. The owners, Siya and Louisa, are phenomenal. You can tell how much care and passion they’ve put into the store and the community they’ve built around it. They’re incredibly knowledgeable about canine nutrition and genuinely take the time to help people find what works best for their dogs. The store itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully curated, with such a great variety of foods, treats and products. I especially love how much they support local and small businesses and introduce their customers to brands and products they might not otherwise discover. But I think what makes Bodega really special is the community they’ve created. They host the best events and parties, bring dog parents together, and make their store feel like so much more than just a pet shop. You can really tell their customers love being there. It was so nice finally getting to visit in person after following them from Toronto. Siya and Louisa have created something really special, and you can see how much heart they put into everything they do. Definitely a must visit for any dog parent in the area.”

“Had such a great time visiting the PETPLS Cat Room! You do have to book your visit in advance. It’s $16 for an hour or $9 for 30 minutes, so make sure to arrive on time and follow the rules. The cats were all adorable, friendly and very well behaved. There’s a nice variety of breeds, and some of the cats are even up for adoption. I spent an hour with them and honestly had the best time. They were very comfortable around people and loved being petted. Some would even come over and sit on your lap. None of the cats I interacted with tried to bite or scratch either. Such a fun and relaxing experience, especially if you love cats. The one hour went by way too fast 😭. Definitely worth visiting!”

“My experience at this store has always been delightful. They definitely do the above and beyond with taking care and grooming my feisty cat. She can be a handful and they are extremely patient with her and will take care of all her/our needs. A situation occurred where after my cat had been groomed, I realized that her behind was full of her poop due to her hair being too long there, and when I had called in to see if they can take care of it, they were happy to allow me to walk in (2 weeks later) and they did a clean and trim at her behind at no charge! They definitely want to create a good relationship with their customers and are not money hungry like other places, they definitely show that they care about us and our pets! 110% satisfied, have been their customer since they have opened up, and forever will be. Thank you all very much for your service! Ps. I don't review much places as I am usually a busy person, however, when I do, it usually means that the place deserves the time I would take to make the review! :)”

“This place has everything you need for exotic animals — rabbits, reptiles, birds, you name it. Prices are totally reasonable and the staff are super kind. They always help with packaging and even offer extra bags without asking. So convenient for pet owners in Richmond who don’t want to drive all the way to big chain stores. Highly recommended — HaHa (my bunny) approves ??”

“Abi deserves 5 stars — honestly, maybe 6. 😂 Handsome, hilarious, super attentive, and apparently knows how to act cute to make customers happy. I only came in to buy a cat scratcher… nobody warned me the customer service would be this entertaining. 😂 Highly recommend Abi (and yes, the cat scratcher too)”

“Bosleys Ironwood is a wonderful store. The new location is much bigger with 2 dog washing stations. They have absolutely everything you need. My dog loves to visit the store. But what really makes it amazing is the staff. They're caring, knowledgeable, and always remember us and our doggo. I highly recommend Ironwood Bosleys!”

“I always go here to purchase my Cat’s litter sand and everyone is always so helpful. They can see that I struggle to carry the 40lbs sand and always offer to help bring it to my car! Thank you for always being so kind ❤”

“We have been going here for years. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products and always friendly. We own a large lab and Tisol has the bones that are best suited for him. Recommend this store and will continue to go here.”

“I really enjoy this Richmond Bosley’s. Staff are friendly and chill, as I would expect a pet store staff to be. I went to one around kitsilano and the guy working there had to go out of his way to remind me in a slightly authoritative way that I need to sign in first before using the dog wash station next time. With this Bosley’s, all I need to do is walk in, give a quick shoutout to the staff and walk straight to the dog wash station. The individual treats at the counter are very overpriced, but their selection of treats are not bad. It could be better with more local brands or small business brands though!”

“I’m so happy with the Miacara treats bag! The crossbody design is super convenient and keeps my hands free while walking my dog. It’s roomy enough to hold plenty of treats. The adjustable strap is comfortable, and the bag itself is made from durable, easy-to-clean material. The secure closure ensures the treats stay fresh, and I love that I can grab a treat quickly when my pup needs a little reward. Highly recommend this for any dog owner who wants a stylish and functional treat bag!”

The staff was friendly, approachable, and demonstrated genuine care for animals. The store's cleanliness and organization made it easy to navigate, contributing to a pleasant shopping experience. I appreciate the store's commitment to providing a positive environment for both pets and their owners. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch pet products and friendly service.”

“Excellent place, amazing staff and very professional approach to grooming dogs. My dog, although a bit scared of other people, is completely comfortable with them! I believe this is because all workers and staff are very attuned to dogs, and can read their behaviours very well. Their attention to detail and ability to make the finished cut look great on any sized dog is one de fur!”

“I've had nothing but good experiences here! All the staff are great but we are especially lucky to have Jing Yi as our groomer at this location. My rescue pup has trauma and we had a hard time finding a groomer that can trim his nails without using force. Today was our third visit with her. I could tell he trusts her now by the way he walked in with her after I dropped him off and she mentioned he's showing improvement. Thank you, Jing Yi, for your patience and your kindness always! 15/10 would recommend her to anyone!”
