“This place is just the best! Not only do they have an incredible selection of new and used books, but they are SO well priced. The staff are very knowledgeable. My son was struggling to find a novel and after asking several questions, they worked with him to find a good fit. So thankful for such a great bookstore in our community.”

I recently discovered Bastion Books, and I must say, it's a hidden gem for anyone interested in the more mystical and unusual topics. The store's occult section is particularly impressive, featuring a diverse array of books that range from mainstream to obscure. As someone who often finds it difficult to locate specific titles in this genre, I was delighted by the selection I encountered here.
During my visit, a staff member was particularly helpful. Even though the store was quite busy, he provided individualized service to each customer, guiding us through the shelves with expertise and enthusiasm. His recommendations were spot-on, enhancing my shopping experience significantly.
One of my favorite features of Bastion Books is the cozy nook tucked away in the back corner. It houses a comfortable chair that seems to invite you to sit and delve into a good book. Observing another patron enjoying this space added a warm, communal feel to the store.
For those who cherish a thorough and engaging book shopping experience, Bastion Books is the place to go. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the selection is unparalleled for enthusiasts of the esoteric and beyond. “We walked to the store that was on the corner. They had everything from comic books to records to sign jerseys even assigned gear from the karate kid..
We ended up spending a little time there and prices were not bad. They even had Funko Pops here and a bit of everything. Kids had a great time. I would come again”

“After living practically next door for a year, I finally noticed this little bookstore while walking past with my spouse one day. We stopped in just to browse, but found tons of books we'd never seen anywhere else. Ended up leaving with a couple books, and plans to revisit in the future. I do have a suggestion to all new students though: do not buy your textbooks until you are certain you are going to need them. Almost all my classes require textbooks, and yet, none of them are necessary for completing the class.”
