Pet-Friendly Restaurants
'49er Saloon
31908 Crown Valley Road, ActonYou, Me, the Waitress, and Maybe a Pear.
Sounds like a Quentin Tarantino movie, doesn't it? Turns out it's just lunch at the 49er Saloon.
This place is wonderfully trapped in 1978. Dark wood, deep red walls, and an atmosphere that brought back childhood memories.
The Western Burger was enormous and delicious. The real surprise was the house-made BBQ sauce—thin, honey-sweet, a little heat on the finish, and possibly a hint of pear.
Good food, friendly service, and more character than most restaurants could ever manufacture.
Five stars for a place that refuses to grow old.
