The sign out front with the fire hydrants is adorable! Though several dogs have told me the hydrants are hard to reach. ?

It tasted better than other ice creams I've had. I ordered the pistachio and praline ice cream scoops on a waffle cup. The pistachio nuts were so good! Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the ice cream. It tasted more authentic than the other places I've been to. Customer service was good too.
They had outdoor seating but it was too hot so I enjoyed my ice cream in my car with the A/C on.

2022: First time here. Just had the most delicious watermelon smoothie! The little bits of mint blended into it make it so delectable... wish I had a gallon of this stuff! There is some pineapple sherbet in there too apparently but not overpowering. Just slushy watermelon mint refreshingness. What a fantastic drink! (Need rum ?)

North Shore Burgers
1929 Verdugo Blvd Ste. B, La Cañada FlintridgeI first went here in the Summer of 2014. I fell in love immediately. Every time friends or family are looking for a place to eat in the area, I recommend North Shore.
They have really good food and drinks. Their burgers, salads, onion rings, and especially their sweet potato fries, are all amazing. I have never had anything I did not enjoy. They have a good selection of wine and beer as well. The best part? All of the prices are reasonable and don’t break the bank.
Also, I have never had a server I did not like. They are always friendly, welcoming, helpful, and timely.
The atmosphere is so chill! It has a fun surfer vibe. The bathroom maintains this atmosphere. Also, it is always clean and smells really nice.
I highly recommend this place! But be warned, you may become addicted, and have trouble not eating here every time you want a burger.
