Pet Grooming

Wet Paws Dog Grooming
2525 Lake Ave #2, AltadenaI've taken my husky to wet paws since she was 4 months old, she is now 8. When the owner switch happen I was sad because there was a lot of unknowns. Those unknowns quickly went away when I met the new owners and saw there was no change in customer service and my dog was a extremely happy after every bath. I highly recommend this place and pray this place stays open for many more years. Oh and they do ana amazing good job when my husky is blowing her coat. The deshed they do is immaculate.

Pet Sitting & Training

Scott-Fox Puppy Preschool
600 W Woodbury Rd, AltadenaWe’ve been coming to scent training classes here for over a year and absolutely love it. Penny and her staff are extraordinary knowledgeable about dog training and behavior and they’ve not just taught my dog but also made me a much better dog trainer. Plus, my dog can now use her nose to find my keys if I ask her to which is the coolest trick we know.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Altadena Ale & Wine House
2329 Fair Oaks Ave, AltadenaI love the vibe. They got all new furnishings, but they cleaned it all up and kept it like it was somehow other. It’s amazing to get to visit the Alan and Winehouse. They have a wide selection of delicious bruise and sweet and kind and generous. They make an excellent pizza. They have mixed nuts and some crisps and stuff, but unfortunately their food is limited, but their hearts are open. There’s an area for the outside people. There’s an area for the inside people you can play darts and keep it small no televisions are blurry except one of the bar that shows old movies and interesting events. I love coming here. We do it at least once a month of the whole group of us and everybody feels it’s the place to be. Enjoy! It’s a community place that feels alive. But I love about it is it feels like good, clean fun without being upscale and overwhelming.

Tacos Don Pillo
2291 Lincoln Ave, AltadenaIt's a bit small, but the food is amazing. The kitchen seems well staffed, so theyre able to serve you in a timely manner even when it's absolutely packed.
Quesa-Birrias are really good and they came with a chile asado, perfect.
Torta Chingona is solid for someone who likes a lot of flavors/ textures
Salsa Roja is good but the Salsa Verde was way better.
The parking is pretty rough, but its worth the walk.

Prime Pizza
1900 Allen Ave, AltadenaI think Prime Pizza is the best New York style pizza you can get in the LA area. The pizza is really crispy, and they offer both round and square pies. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. My go to slices are the spicy pepperoni, classic cheese, and pepperoni. The hoagie is also very good and worth trying.
The parking lot itself is small, but street parking is easy and usually not a far walk. Beyond the food, this location feels very community driven. You can really see it with Pasadena and Altadena merch being sold and the overall neighborhood vibe from the people here.
Seating is outdoor only in a patio setup, and they have a big TV outside where they show sports, which adds to the experience. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.
